I gave it a one star because there’s no lesser! We drove 2 hours for this. The food was not edible. We had 2 beef empanadas and they were under cooked. Horrible the dough was soft, and when we picked them up they folded it over, not crunchy at all! We threw them out. We also ordered carne Frita that was also under cooked. There was no meat and, the pork’s fat was white, and the skin was not crispy. It was soggy!!!! We threw that out!! And last, we ordered morcilla, not good at all! It tasted like i was eating a fat jalapeño pepper, than a Puertorican blood sausage!! It was so spicy we couldn’t taste it! We threw that out as well!! And 2 other dishes!! We didnt returned the food, we were already too far, not worth the gasoline spend. We went there with high expectations! Maybe the cook was new or was not up to cooking!! ‍♂️ but there are no excuses for this!! Money wasted! Sorry, but I cannot give it a good review if what we received wasn’t right! Never again!!

Muy bueno! We seriously good Puerto Rican pick up and go foods here. All types of empanadas, sandwiches, fried foods and PR breakfast things. The place is kind of small so it is good for pickup and go. Also it helps if you know a little Spanish, as ordering in Spanish may be easier for them.

Cruising around Lancaster PA I stumbled upon this hidden gem and decided to pull over and give it a try . I ordered a tripleta , and a empanada . I got the opportunity to meet the owner such a nice lady . We chatted for a little and she even took pictures for my coworker on the big Puerto Rican flag chair . The tripleta was delicious, well seasoned , juicy , and the bread nicely toasted . I didn’t give it 5 stars because the empanada tho it was freshly made it was missing more stuffing . I like a nice full empanada . Everything else was 5 star including the establishment . It really reminds you of a kiosko when you go to the Island. Will stop by again to try their pinchos .

We just left there for the last time order a potato ball and its still frozen inside then she tries to refund us less than she charged us and looked at me like I was lying until I told her touch it its still froze we will go somewhere else from now on the quality has been getting worse. I wanted to try the potato ball because the empanadas that I always liked have become un edible the meat is ground so much its almost a puree they used to have good food but not anymore it was a waste of money and especially the fact it was the owner who tried to refund us less than she had just charged tells me they rip people off and just dont get caught

Great place to pick up authentic food from Puerto Rico! Love the service. Because of its authenticity it took a little bit to get – but once you’ve received your order- whew! It was good! No tables for seating – mostly carry out only!

The first time we went we were warmly welcomed and asked if we in the neighborhood and we told them we just moved in. Then the very next time, “hello, neighbors!” Really wonderful. This has become a staple for us! We eat lunch here once a week just about every week. The empanadillas are legendary. We also love the carne fritas, tostones, and maduros. The people are great and the food is great!

My favorite empanada is the chicken and cheese. My kids all love he pizza one.

I’ve been going to this place for years. I don’t get there often enough and under the newer ownership the food still tastes great. I ordered sancocho and they didn’t have it in stock, but the sopa de salchicha y jamón was delicious as well. The broth so flavorful and comforting. I also think the seafood & pizza empanadillas are the best and my husband loves when I bring home the sorullos de maíz. Definitely stop in for a bite. I usually don’t take the time to write reviews.
