This place was really nice. Great ambiance, outdoor seating with a fireplace, and our (dinner) food was perfect. James was our waiter and he did an exceptional job. He was knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations. I definitely recommend trying this place. I’m looking forward to trying their breakfast and lunch.

It’s “just barely” inside of Rockwall County, but Main Street Bistro and Bakery in Rowlett, blew me away. The location is only 6 months old, their 4th location in DFW.

They specialize in breakfast, serving it until 4pm daily. Ashley Guynes and I came here on a suggestion from Kandace Fields. So thankful!

First of all, the prices were reasonable, most dishes under $10. Service was fantastic, decor was upscale, clean and beautiful. Y’all ceilings and professionally done.

The food was remarkable, especially the waffle which was the best I’ve ever had. Yep, that’s high praise, but here was a waffle that was crispy and warm but also soft and fluffy, absorbing the syrup perfectly in every fork full. Friends, this waffle alone is worth the drive. Just trust me.

All together the entire experience was great, value and quality with great service and taste. Very happy to recommend them to the Rockwallian community.

Main Street Bistro is located in Rowlett at Dalrock and 66 in the South East Corner behind the CVS in the shopping center.

Excellent food, good prices, generous portion sizes. Clean and well-managed. Friendly staff. Our table was a little drafty, I wish the air vents weren’t pointed right at the tables. The live piano player was a nice touch!
Highly recommended the Filet Benedict and Strawberry Crepes.

Ate here for the first time today and it was a very good experience. The food was very good…we had the calamari, and I had fettuccine alfredo. I also got to try the miniature cheesecake. The service was also amazing, and we loved the atmosphere! We’ll definitely be returning.

First time trying this on a Wednesday evening, not too busy but still had quite a few tables open at dinner time. The atmosphere is great, even had a gas fireplace in the middle of the restaurant with some seating in front of it. The Calamari appetizer was overcooked and chewy, but it still had a good flavor. The salmon dinner was DELICIOUS and the salmon was cooked to perfection. Loved my partners burger, had to sneak a bite! The patty was cooked medium well and had a nice charred flavor to it. The burger for my son was cooked the same. We chose one of the desserts from the display tray that they brought to the table. The choices were a little overwhelming but I chose the chocolate/ cherry dessert (can’t remember the name) and it was deliciously rich. It kind of reminded me if a chocolate wafer because of all the layers. The manager (I assumed) came over to have a chat with us which was nice. Would try this place again and hope the food stays pretty consistent.

I was promptly seated among the three tables with customers was given a breakfast menu. Ten minutes later my server arrived at the table. They only have fruit flavored iced tea, so I ordered apple juice and breakfast. Ten minutes later my server returned to tell me “I’m sorry we are out of apple juice.” So I was stuck with fruit tea. The food was good. Biscuits and gravy with eggs were all well prepared. My overall impression was that the food is good, though overpriced. Their servers were not great. I would not suggest this place of you have to move with any expediency. If you have plenty of time for your meal then give it a try.

They have not officially opened. Will change 1 star after they open

Only had a Host seemed like Shannon was doing everything. The dinner menu was limited and only had half of that tonight.
The concept and look of the place is great. The back is a very nice bar setup and the pastry and dessert section is close to the door. Restrooms very modern. Patio was nice, but at time pf this review the sun was blinding and pics blurred out.

Will make a return visit when they are fully open for business and give a more honest and accurate review

Great to have new Restaurants in the city.

We have been to this place multiple times since they opened in October. We love the food! The staff is really friendly. I love the desserts! The prices are a tad bit high for some things. But overall, it’s a great place to eat!

Everything we tried here was fantastic! I had a Club Sandwich, the bread was great, and tons of meat. The fries were the best I’ve in Texas. The appetizer we chose was the crab quesadilla, it was AMAZING! My wife had the Ruben also amazing, and for dessert I had an Napoleon pastery. So sweet, and so good!!
