The service was good.
The booths are cozy.
We will be back!
The food was fast, like they knew what we wanted. The atmosphere was inviting. Clean, loved the art work on the walls. Each table was private, you could have a conversation without the next table hearing you.
Let’s get back to the food. We choose Pad See-ew, Stuffed Chicken Wings ‘n Basil Stir Fry. The food had our tastebuds dancing as the flavour rolled across my tongue. The cheese cake was best to end the meal. Did not feel rushed as we sat talked to enjoy the evening and meal.
As I sat there with my friend, I noticed there traffic was steady for take out.
Who knew this gem of a restaurant was there. Well I do now. I will have to bring my boyfriend here when we have a moment to relax from our sports.
Thank you again for the wonder food ‘n service.
Colleen
We ordered pad see-ew (sieu)– a dish we’ve had a hundred times that is thick rice noodles, Chinese broccoli and meat or Tofu (and often carrot).
We received a container with thick rice noodles, celery, red pepper, carrot and chicken.
The restaurant was closed by the time we got back to the hotel so there was nothing we could do about it. It’s wild that there’s such a high rating for a restaurant that can’t get such a common dish right.
2nd visit and i was still very impressed with the food. I also added some pictures of what we ate.
I tried both dinner and lunch. I prefer dinner. Lunch menu was little too expensive and not worth to try for me. I would rather have more dinner dishes with that price.
Dinner was awesome! My favourite noodle pat-see-u was perfect, coconut prawn and papaya salad were delicious, curry was good too. I would go back for dinner for sure!
Just 2 very small issues:
– Calamari, needed a few seconds longer in the fryer.
– Chow Mein, more veggies (was very little).
Located in a stripmall, the average looking restaurant does not reflect what is inside. There is parking on the street in front, parking behind the restaurant and side streets. We had no issues finding parking.
The inside is simple and nice. Some lovely images on the walls. We got seated near the door and there was a cold draft that was the only downside of the evening.
We had some summer rolls, a medium tom ka soup that was enough for two. The two main dishes we had tasted phenomenal and not greasy. They customized the spiciness for us, the got it exactly right, tangy but still edible.
Decent portions and reasonable prices.
Really enjoyed the food. I would recommend and will be going back.
