I arrived at the spot about 8am on 9/27. I ordered the Pan Con Bistec which the young man said it would take 20min. No problem. About 10 mins later these youngsters, ranging from early twenty’s to late twenty’s pull up in about 3-4 cars. 2 young lady’s came in ordered and was served. There were about 5 young men and 2 of them had guns that were clearly showing. I immediately left and will NEVER be back. The guns were clearly visible and I felt unsafe.

Food is delicious, the only thing is Everyday is a different menu. So if you want the same item you got the day before you have to call In to pre order. They also do catering. Area is not the best and there isn’t any nice view to look at but it is a good spot to stop and go.

Went there on my lunch at around 8pm. I usually go to rice n beans but they were crowded. I only have an hr so I decided to try this place out. As soon as I pulled in the parking lot and only 2 cars were there on a Friday night I had a bad feeling. Inside only 1 person waiting and the trays were all but gone. Expect rice n beans, white rice and chicken and what look like beef strips. I ordered the rice and beans, chicken n “beef” strips. I asked the young lady “beef?” She nodded yes. Well back here at work and rice was hard and warm not hot. Chicken cold no taste and the “beef” was actually liver now I see why they weren’t crowded and Rice n Beans up the block is. That was my first and last visit

Me and my Wife love the food here , but for some reason the employees feel like they can bird feed us with our money and why do they tell us their liver is Steak , excuse me ma’am !!! I stopped by this evening to get some Latin American food (I spend my summers in Latin America). The food was very tasty, plentiful, and prices were amazing.
I got rice, beans, chicken, sweet plantains, yuco fritos, and passion fruit juice. All of this came out to $15.50 before tip.
