Ok, so if you haven’t gotten wings here you’re missing out. You have to eat the wings there because they get soggy in the to go box from all of the steam. Wings are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Perfectly cooked. Wood fired pizza was amazing as well. Staff were great too! 100% recommend.

I’m glad we tried this place
We’ve lived in the area for a long time and have never eaten here. But we decided to finally go, and it was pretty darn good!

The restaurant itself looks large from the outside, and when you go inside, it’s still large, but somehow seems small. I think the layout could be arranged much better, for both convenience, extra seating, and ambiance. the decor was somewhere between “mom & pop shop” and “trying to be upscale.” It was confusing but it was very clean and the lighting was just right for a romantic dinner. I especially loved that you can see the Giant Wood Fire Stove when you walk in! There’s a separated bar area which is nicely done with some LED lights, which again, looks nice but is confusing with what style the decor is. We didn’t sit there, but I peaked inside.

‍ The waitress was friendly and quiet. She talked just enough for us to communicate and not more. That was a relief because we were pretty tired from the day. She sat us next to another group of people even though there was a table free next to it, so we simply asked to move and she kindly obliged. There weren’t many people there, but still, the service was great and we were very pleased.

I got a Peach Whiskey Tea, which sounded so much better than it tasted. Watery before the ice had melted… and it was full of ice which eventually melted to make it more watery. It has a lot of alcohol (which is fine by me!) But not very much Peach Tea, which made it taste off. It was a hint of Peach with a lot of Whiskey. If there was more peach tea and less ice, it would have been perfect!

The food was plentiful and the portion sizes are definitely worth the money! We both enjoyed our main courses (Lasagna and Philly Cheesesteak). They were cooked exceptionally well and again, BIG PORTIONS. I am however a little disappointed in the Wood Fire Pizza, especially because that’s what the place is called. Most Wood Fire Pizza has a crispy crust that’s a bit charred. They got the charr part perfectly but the dough was soft and chewy and not at all crispy. It, like the decor, was confusing. When I got home I toasted the pizza and tried it again, and it made all the difference.
Overall we were so stuffed from the main courses that we didn’t mind the pizza anyway.

It was nice to try this place out and we will be back to try it again sometime

I have been hearing about this spot for a little and do not get out to that side of town much but was craving pizza. So I drove across town and let me tell you that it was SO WORTH IT! Thanks so much Kristin Hale for the recommendation. The wood fire adds such a texture and flavor to the crust and I get mine cooked a little extra and get that crispness. OH YEAH! I will be going back. Huge selection of fresh toppings, any combination you want. Give it a try. Tell them I sent you.

The strawberry sangria was The best sangria I ever had. The barbecued pork wings were really good And so with the fries. The only issue I had was the tomato in the caprese was not ripe… it was white pretty much all the way through same with the subs that we had. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere for the first time that we’ve gone out to a restaurant since the pandemic was really nice.

Ordered through door dash.
Was very good. I’m sure it would be better there and not steamed in a box….
Margherita and a Gluten-free. It lacked a certain zing in the sauce that i like, but very good nonetheless.
Want to go there and check it out in person 🙂 Fries were delicious too.

I ordered an 8″ Pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms, it was delicious, tasted like the sauce was freshly made. My wife ordered the 8″ Supreme Pizza and she loved it. This restaurant has a nice, friendly atmosphere and the service was excellent. The proprietor’s of the Wood Fire Italian restaurant also makes and bottles their own wines. We had a sample, it tasted great, so we bought a bottle. We’ll be going back!

Best italian restaurant ever. Food was phenomenal. Best pizza in the world, even better than the pizzeria located in my hometown. Truly amazing. Five stars.

We Had a great dinner experience! Food was really tasty. I had Lobster Ravioli w/ a side salad. My wife had the chicken Cesar wrap. We also got onion rings for an appetizer. Only thing that would have made it better would have been any darker green lettuce in the salad instead of iceberg lettuce. Service was good!

New place, needs to find their swing. Decor looks nice, and perhaps the menu is appropriate, but the food misses the mark. The side salad and garlic bread was a dismal start. Salad was good, but super small with a packet of dressing rather than served properly. Bread was seemingly a hot dog roll toasted with some butter. One of us had spaghetti, the other tortellini. Both had canned sauce, which from the look of other plates, seems the norm. Pasta was okay, but also very “pre-made” tasting. Fries tasted run of the mill frozen, and were not quite cooked enough. The “Ocean Fries” were oddly very plain. After asking and getting “extra” seasoning, they were much better. One order of chicken fingers came as expected, pre-packaged and store breaded also served with a packet of honey mustard. Overall, the place itself seems very nice with a good offering and great potential, but the food quality utterly lacking and the heavy use of pre-packaged food makes the $12-18/dinner very overpriced. I would assume the new owner’s have never actually run a restaurant before and they appear doomed from the start. Service was pleasantly and surprisingly very attentive, unfortunately the food served can only go so far even with the best service.

Pizzas are delicious. Always better out of a wood fired oven. Pasta dishes were lacking. While plentiful sauce was provided, it was almost soupy. I would not recommend the alfredo dish. The sauce was not good. Too watery for me, they didn’t use enough cheese. On a side note bathroom was nice but the soap was watered down and basically unusable. I cannot accept that as hygiene is important
