Stopped by Charleys Cheesesteaks and while the service was friendly and quick, the food itself was just okay. The cheesesteak looked better than it tasted – not bad, but definitely nothing memorable.
If you’re in a rush and want something quick with good service, it’ll do the job. But if you’re looking for standout flavor, this probably won’t hit the mark.

I really had my hopes up with this opening up close to home. I’d like to preface that my first experience was in Witchita Kansas and I was HOOKED. The food and service was excellent! 3 times now I’ve gone to one near Chicago and the portions are embarrassing. A good sandwich highlights the ingredients within the sandwich. This was all bread and cheese. I’m very disappointed. I don’t think I’ll be going back for the price. This was 18 dollars. I’d rather go to the mall Philly shop. Great Steak at North Riverside Mall has a better Philly. Way more meat for the price.

Charleys Cheesesteaks & Wings is Berwyn’s newest oasis from its usual eateries. Their food is always made fresh and everything on their menu, that I have tried, has been DELICIOUS. I have enjoyed all six flavors of boneless wings and I would say that there is not a bad wing on their menu – although I must admit that Lemon Pepper Rub and Scorpion Sting are probably my favorites. The staff is welcoming and a delight to interact with. All of my interactions with employees of Charleys has been positive; they are always friendly, extremely helpful, eager to be of service and I am always made to feel like a valued customer. They also keep the dining area clean, in fact I would say downright sparkling. Their atmosphere is comfy and I always look forward to my next tasty return.

I noticed that the cashier used the same gloves throughout the entire exchange while also handling food.
Ordered the regular Philly cheesesteak but it threw me off that it came with lettuce and tomato even though the menu didn’t specifically list those.
I was craving the onions, green peppers and mushrooms yet I barely got any.
