Love the country ambience! People were super-friendly, the waitress Lauren that waited on me was very efficient and had that all important drink refill as needed. The burgers in this place are insane. The restaurant is new, so you better come see them before they get more noticed!

Awesome burgers, tried then twice so far. They have only been open about three weeks in the Elk Creek area, but it is very clean inside and best of all it is non-smoking! Finally a restaurant that is asthmatic friendly and good food in Spencer County! Staff is friendly and helpful. Owner is very nice to talk with as well and is looking forward to adding patio dining, ice cream parlor and eventually breakfast. I for one can’t wait to have a full family restaurant that is not specifically pizza, Chinese or Mexican food! Not that I don’t like those, but variety near home is awesome!

Great home style meals. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. My wife and I eat there all the time and have yet to have a meal we didn’t like. Great selection. Best restaurant in Taylorsville by far! Plus it’s reasonable! We love it!

This is a great family restaurant and the food is made fresh daily, with a selection for every taste!
I highly recommend the Pork chops, served either grilled or breaded. The awesome thing here was how accommodating the staff is, including the cooks. As we all have certain ways we like foods, it was certainly refreshing to see that here, the customer not only comes first they absolutely matter. While some may not like the non smoking atmosphere the majority of people do appreciate this, especially if your there with the kids!
Desserts- Just go right to the Hot Fudge Cake pictured here, it rounds out the already “Oops, I really was FULL eating experience”.
No delay to be waited on, and no delay in getting your food!
And YES, they have the to go availability here.
If they ever deliver, so long pizzas forever!

I had the grilled catfish with fried okra and collard greens. The meal was very good. I have eaten here probably 8 times and have not had a bad meal. Tasha is an excellent waitress!

Cute little restaurant attached to a Marathon gas station. Dinner last evening was delicious comfort food. My open face roast beef was melt in your mouth. My husband’s cod was plentiful and delicious as well. Friendly and outgoing staff. Back this morning for breakfast. Camping at Taylorsville lake this weekend. Stop by and check it out.

Very disappointed need to learn how post your hours. I drive a long ways do you have a good dinner. Either you’re open or you’re not. What does hours may vary mean you’re not coming in at all you’re not opening at all your closing early. No answer machine and nobody to answer the phone. Might need a little change there but food is good.
