This place has great potential — when the owner is around, everything runs smoothly and the service feels organised. However, when they’re not present, things often become quite unprofessional.
The food quality has noticeably decreased since the restaurant first opened. I’ve received meals that appeared to be microwaved rather than freshly made, and overall consistency has gone downhill. Prices also seem to vary depending on who serves you, which is confusing and unprofessional. While the young ladies at the cashier desk are always polite and respectful, the cooks are often rude and dismissive, which really affects the overall experience.
When ordering online, customer service is also poor — there’s no proper communication or updates about your order, and the menu listed online isn’t always accurate. This makes the delivery experience frustrating and unreliable.
The ambiance inside the restaurant is lovely, and the business has a lot of potential to be successful. However, it really needs more consistent professionalism, better-trained staff, and reliable customer service both in person and online.

Awful delivery service. Ordered on Uber eats twice and each time cancelled without explanation. The second time we even scheduled the order a few hours in advance and was still cancelled. Tried to contact and kept on going to voicemail. Get off uber eats if you can’t deliver. This why people don’t support black-owned businesses. The lack of professionalism is disgraceful.
UPDATE: after a 3rd attempt to order (made by my friend, cause by that point I’d given up), food finally came. The food and flavours were absolutely delicious! If you guys work on your delivery etiquette, you will get even more business.

Attempted to order on uber eats twice ! And food always got cancelled !! Don’t be on Uber eats if you can’t provide the service! Embarrassing- this is always an issue with African restaurants! Do better

I have order the food at 16.29 and it hasn’t been delivered in 2h and when I called the restaurant they told me that the food is ready and they are just waiting for the driver… And trying to tell me it’s not their foult but the drivers. So I tried to explain to the guy that he should be chasing the driver to come to get the food so I don’t get cold or my food getting there late. Not sure if it isn’t he’s foult or if it is but they shouldn’t be letting the customers like that, even small call or somethink could have made me less disappointed but I feel like the guy wasn’t really doing he’s job properly.

Stumbled actoss this place this evenng. Such a friendly place and amazing food. My friends son has just moved to birmingham and i feel better already knowing that there is akready a friendly place for him to eat. Complimentary plantains and goat meat with a chefs specal dip. A most excrlkent establishment with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Thank you.
