Absolutely everything was amazing! We went on maybe the coldest night of winter so we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor puppy party atmosphere but everything inside was cozy and delicious. The owner even stopped by to check in and express his happiness with our full bellies.
The caramel apple sangria and Legrand Slam were great- innovative and satisfying.
The sandwiches are huge, chock full of flavor. I am not good at talking about food; I am a good eater though and Uncle Tank’s gave me plenty of delicious food to eat. Can’t wait to return when it’s warm enough to play with puppies.
Oh, the service was great too. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, ready to offer suggestions on popular picks (& bring boxes when you order too much).

First off Hannah and Mike— Awesome people so kind, upbeat and funny. Food omg 10/10 absolutely spectacular so delicious!! We had the nachos, big bad wolf and the Jamaican jerk quesadillas! Cute atmosphere really chill vibes and they make their own hot sauce of course we bought some! Cannot wait to be back!!! Also it’s dog friendly which is so cool they even have “yappy hour” for the pups!

Really solid food and a great atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly. I stopped in and ordered a french onion soup as they said it was the best around. The soup was really done well, but a little too watery, needs to be a little thicker to get that great mouth feel, however, the taste was on point! I also ordered a sandwich, it was the vegetarian one but i added garlic chicken and it was phenomenal! Overall this place is solid. They have some unique items as well as classics. Get out and support this restaurant, they are worth your time! Thank all

This place is absolutely incredible. Very family oriented. My wife and I walked in with our 10 month old daughter and we felt very welcomed on multiplication on multiple Occasions. We also came here with my service dog, and we fell very welcomed as well and they also have a menu for animals. And they let us keep the Dog bowl. I highly recommend this place and my wife and I will be definitely coming back very frequently

Very cool spot for a meal or a beer. We went for lunch and loved it. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The rooms are bright and well decorated. They also have several TVs so you can catch the game, or Alfred Hitchcock while you sit at the bar. The food was outstanding! I had the French Onion soup which was sweet and the Diablito (sandwich) which I would definitely recommend. Not as spicy as the name would suggest but decent heat and bursting with flavor.

Great food. Nice outdoor seating. Doggy friendly ^_^ Also, very kind staff who love and appreciate doggies. And, a dog menu to order from as well, where proceeds go to the local animal shelter! Not only did my wife and I enjoy a lovely evening together with good food and drink, but our pups got to join us =) Definitely excited to come back to this place with friends and family next time as well.

We chose here to get a quick bite of dinner but this place delivered several surprises. First, the Guinness was to the point. They poured it the right way and gave the right level of head. My husband ordered their burger “Witch Doctor,” which had thick cuts of pork rolls and grilled pineapple. The burger was cooked perfectly medium-well. Fries and pickles came with the burger tasted great. I ordered the “O’Brien” sandwich, because of the sign on the wall “It’s Good to be Irish.” It’s basically an “Irish” Reuben: instead of pastrami, they put corned beef slices. I added salad on the side for $2 extra, and it was worthy. The service was quick and friendly. One more surprise as we walked out was the magnetic Rutgers sign they gave for free!!! Our car now is decorated. We didn’t sit outside since it was raining, but they have nice outdoor seating. And, they are dog friendly – they even have a menu for dogs!!!

I have been here multiple times now. It is one of my favorite places to go. As a party of one, they are always so accommodating and kind. I have to admit I am preferential to both Cooper and Cathy as servers/hostesses. Their gluten-free pizza is one of the best I’ve ever tasted. They are very accommodating and knowledgeable. Not only that but handicap accessible. I don’t know how many more great things I can say. One of my favorite restaurants since moving to this area.

Tonight was the second time that my husband and I have eaten at Uncle Tank’s. Both times they didn’t disappoint. The appetizers and the entrees were cooked to perfection. We’ve tried, so far, the fried fish grilled cheese which was on the special menu last week, the big bad wolf sandwich and fried pickles. This week we had the bruschetta app, the il caprese sandwich, and the meatball dom. The beer is cold, and the service is excellent. We’re so happy to have found such a great place to sit and enjoy a great meal after a busy week. Looking forward to going back and sampling other dishes on the menu.
