Reviews
The menu had so many tempting options that we stared at it like we were prepping for finals. A friendly diner at the bar assured us we couldn’t go wrong because everything was good—and honestly, we believe him.
We rolled in about ten minutes before happy hour ended, so we snagged a couple of beers at HH prices and ordered the pretzel bites (highly recommend). After that warm-up, we split the Frisco Melt, which the bartender immediately approved as a “solid choice.” She was right. The food was hot and tasty, the beer was ice cold, the service was quick and friendly, and the prices were refreshingly reasonable in this era of “apparently every burger is now $20”
We’d absolutely stop here again. A+ road-trip find!
We’ve lived a minute away for 12 years and hadn’t visited until this month. We were absolutely delighted with the atmosphere and especially with the FOOD. The chicken club just had no right to be as delectable as it was. I was like, “who buys a sandwich at a restaurant that you can just make yourself at home?” YOU DO. And the waffle fries were *chefs kiss* My husband had the frisco and he couldn’t believe how good it was. We can’t wait to go back!
Don’t be like us. Visit your neighborhood restaurants today!!!
I was greeted as soon as I came in. It seemed there was only one bartender with a full bar and a few tables. She was very busy so I ordered at the bar.
I asked for a double patty since I don’t eat fries and I get my burger without the bun (I’m usually still hungry). You have to pay for a whole second meal to get a double patty, so I declined. They do offer alternative sides, such as salad, but I wasn’t feelin’ it today.
The burgers are pre-pattied, half pounders. Both the ‘garlic capped’ and the ‘java burger’ looked good. I went with the garlic capped even though cream cheese on a burger seemed strange. Also was unsure about the pre-patty…but..
It was delicious!!
I did try a fry and the breading reminded me of Rally’s. It was so good and tempting not to eat. Took them home and the family said they were better than Rally’s.
I am looking forward to trying the ‘java burger’!!
Visited last night with some friends and everyone’s food was AMAZING. Fries were on point, crispy, and hot. I had the Frisco Melt and it was very good. Wife had the Tap House salad with chicken and it was HUGE and delicious. Friend had the ribeye and there was a giant pool of juice/butter on top and seasoned well.
The only thing I’m upset about is they no longer have the fried pickles!! PLEASE BRING BACK THE FRIED PICKLES!!
ORIGINAL REVIEW – Tasty little joint. Good selection of beer on tap. Great burgers. Fries are very good. Best fried pickles I’ve had in a long time. Try the Cola Flank Steak dinner for a mouth watering experience.
