This is a super cutie spot for dine in. The vibes are like a more sophisticated twin peaks, I will look forward to coming back in the summer to check out the patio, the service and drinks were so good, I thought the sushi menu was actually fairly limited compared to other local spots, and I would give it a solid 7.5 out of 10. Really good but I wasn’t blown away, but will absolutely come back because of the service and vibes. It felt cozy and nice, the lowlight lends well to a super sweet date night or late night chat with friends. The best roll was the The Sellwood, and the Tuna nigiri was also very tasty, the lychee lemon drop was pleasantly tart and yummy

This place is fire. It’s friendly, familiar, cozy. The food is really fresh and has a good, tight menu with hot and cold combos. The house kimchi is excellent. Cocktails are varied and balanced.

This place is incredible! It was unusually calm for opening time on Friday (they usually have a line) so we didn’t have to wait and sat at the bar. The bartender was super sweet and helpful in suggesting her recommendations. We got the seared ahi tuna wontons, the green beans, a tofu roll, and a funky tuna roll. The Japanese whiskey list was impressive and I got their seasonal shrub spritzer. All of it was perfect. They make everything fresh from scratch. Good atmosphere. And again, super lovely staff! A really close friend of mine recommended Zenbu Lounge to us because he has been coming to Zenbu before it was cool and popular. His recommendation did not disappoint. The back patio is set up like a Japanese garden beautifully. We ordered a handful of rolls, and they were all very delicious.

Hands down my favorite place in Portland. Sammy and Rachel KILL it in front of house, the kitchen staff is always on point and cheerful, and the specials are amazing along with the always fresh sushi menu. Perfect spot for a date night, sitting outside in the summer, or bellying up to the bar and reading a book. LOVE YOU ZENBU!!!!!!!!

From the peaceful outside seating with water feature backgrounds to the beautiful ambiance inside, this place feels so welcoming and upscale cozy, if you know what I mean!
We tried out the majority of the happy hour menu. The green beans and California rolls are hands down the best I’ve ever had. Everything we tried on the menu was delicious and the prices are super typical for happy hour. The rest of the menu appeared to be pretty affordable as well.
Can’t wait to go back!!
