This place is truly a hidden local gem! You’d never guess it’s Guyanese-owned based on the menu, which makes it such a refreshing change from the typical cultural spots in the area. The food is absolutely delicious — everything is packed with flavor.
They earned my trust after my first order of their turkey burger which was so flavorful. After that, their chicken club sandwich became my go-to. Their chocolate lava cake was also one of my faves!
I love their outside seating area. The decor is such a vibe — cozy, stylish, and welcoming. So glad I found this spot, highly recommend!

Incredible place that lives up to the 5-star reviews! From our very first visit back in 2018, they never cease to amaze us with how flavorful and perfectly cooked everything is – from the juicy burgers to the delicious cheese fries, every bite is on point. You can tell they use quality ingredients, and the flavors really shine through. If you are anywhere near Ozone Park and craving a seriously good burger, The Local Press is a must-visit! They also have a great variety of offerings, but our family’s favorites are the ‘beer battered fish and chips’, and their latest addition, the ‘bang bang popcorn chicken’; both packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.
The restaurant itself is super clean and modern with a cool, welcoming vibe. Whether you want to grab something quick for takeout or sit down and enjoy your meal, it is a great spot. They also have outdoor seating, which is a nice bonus! If we could give more points for their service – we would! The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, which makes each visit even better. A special mention to the restaurant manager, Kevin D., who treats returning diners like family.
We highly recommend The Local Press for anyone looking for incredible food in a friendly setting. They are definitely a solid addition to the neighborhood!

I recently went to this restaurant on a whim and it was a great decision. It can be a little pricey, but I’m willing to pay for what I want especially food . The chicken was seasoned well and not many places have bang bang popcorn chicken and The Local Press does and it’s good! The Mac and Cheese isn’t your southern grandma’s, BUT, it is good for a quaint eatery and I’d get it again. The food was hot and fresh and correct! And their menu has enough diversity, so everyone will be satisfied. The signage inside is lovely with great mantras. The staff was welcoming and service was good and the atmosphere was perfect for a quick, intimate bite to eat. Check them out! No, I didn’t get paid for this lol

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars because EVERYTHING here is amazing! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented . The staff is so warm and welcoming, and you can truly taste the love in every meal. I live in Long Island and still make the trip twice a week—it’s that good. My husband is obsessed with the mozzarella sticks and Tokyo fries! The Local Press is hands down one of the best spots in Queens! ❤️❤️

If i could give this place 10 stars i would, burgers are sooo damm good. i’ve gotten delivery from here to our shop about 5 -6xs now and each and every time the burgers are on point. loaded fries are amazing, wings are big and flavorful and to top it off the arnold palmer it perfect!!! if you haven’t tried this place out, you should, you wont be disappointed. & if you are you probably have bad taste anyway loll

Local Press has been my go to spot since 2019! 7 years later and they’ve never disappointed! The restaurant is very warm and welcoming and beautifully decorated! The burgers are the best I’ve had in NYC, so fresh and tasty! The service is phenomenal, Kevin is your go to guy, felt like I’ve known him my entire life and makes the dining experience a 100/10! This place was just what my husband and I were looking for right here in our hometown. We were in the mood for burgers and soup, and this place didn’t disappoint. We had the lobster bisque, and I had the grilled chicken burger. while my husband had a fried chicken burger, which was both very pleasing. Both were great! The atmosphere and music were on point, and the service was great. I would definitely recommend it.

It’s a nice cozy place to enjoy some wings. I got mac and cheese for appetizer, 12 wings (6 sweet chili and 6 buffalo), French fries with cheese and bacon bits, and molten lava cake with vanilla ice cream. I loved the food. I highly recommend this spot.

I got the crispy chicken tacos and my daughter which is very picky had the bbq wings and french fries. She wouldn’t stop saying how good the chicken was.
