The food here was really good — great flavor and overall a solid meal. The service was also good, and in general the place has a nice vibe. I ordered the lunch special and enjoyed it, which made the experience feel like a good value at first.
One thing that caught me off guard was the sparkling water. I asked for sparkling water and was served Pellegrino in very small bottles (8.45 oz). I ended up having two, and when the bill came, they were $7 each. That added $14 to the meal and honestly took away from the “lunch special” feeling. I wish the price or size had been mentioned ahead of time.
Also, the booth seating could use some attention — the upholstery looked a bit dirty and could use a good cleaning, which stood out.
I don’t like leaving negative feedback because I know how hard it is to run a restaurant, and the food itself was genuinely good. With a little more transparency on drink pricing and some attention to the seating, this place could be even better.

Pad Thai was decent, not 100% authentic but not too bad. The chow mien was so-so.
Ambience was chill, and not too many people. Service staff were kind and nice

Went here for my husband’s birthday dinner on a whim. The place was completely empty we were the only customers! The decor is nice, the food was great. We will definitely be back.

Although there are several Thai food restaurants in Camarillo, I have found Thai peru to be the most reasonably priced and the most authentic. The ambience of the restaurant itself is enchanting. There are tapestries on the walls and the staff is garbed in traditional Thai clothing. Everything is so interesting to look at and the smells coming from the kitchen will certainly whet your appetite The service is always excellent as is the food. Thai peru has an extensive menu and there are many delicious choices to enjoy. Try something different every time you go! They also deliver which can come in very handy when you don’t feel like going out. They also have a lovely lunch menu

Okay – I can understand why this is a 4 star restaurant, the FOOD is a FIVE but the restaurant is a bit overpriced. Don’t get me wrong, I would still go back and eat again, but I would only do it for a special occasion. Also, we only tried their Peruvian dishes – everything was super well seasoned, and would consider this a solid Peruvian spot. I wanted to go back and try their Thai stuff, but then I saw the price and decided I could live without it.

Don’t judge a book by its over. Once you walk through the doors you are transported to another place. This restaurant is beautiful and a peaceful place to enjoy a tasty meal. The menu features both Thai and Peruvian food. We ordered Peruvian dishes that were incredible. The meat was very tenderized and flavored in a way that will having you craving it for days after your visit! Amazing service and a must try if you’re in the area looking for something new.

Thai Peru in Camarillo is a hidden gem! The unique Thai-Peruvian fusion is outstanding—fresh ingredients, bold flavors in dishes like Pad Woon Sen and Combo Chow Mein. Friendly service and great atmosphere. Highly recommend using their personal app to earn rewards!

This was a truly awful experience. We ordered three dishes. Two were completely inedible – they actually smelled and tasted rotten and were the wrong color (I eat and make Thai food all the time). We reluctantly ate half of the 3rd dish, which was edible but not in any way good.

Wonderful food time after time. Empanadas are homemade and are served with a sauce that I could drink (it is that good!). Tallarin Verde is another favorite. Calling in your pick-up order will save you money on fees.
