I would say the 22 Area Galley has some of the best menu variety, food quality, and customer service of any chow hall I’ve been to on Camp Pendleton! The building is modern, clean, and expansive. The drive thru and fast-chow window are nice features. This chow does unfortunately get packed sometimes during the weekdays, and like any chow hall, it’s not 100% consistent.

The “quick chow” line is anything but quick. I get 30 minutes to get chow, I spent the whole 30 minutes plus some in a line of only 15 cars. Got yelled at when I got back, had to throw the food away

I have never had dryer chicken in my life. The burgers are always over cooked, The fries are either soggy or burnt, service is ridiculously slow, and there is always at least 1 hair in any given one of the fish tacos.
