This place is a hidden gem for those not familiar with the area. We live two yours away and came to the area to purchase a car. Stopped in here because it was close by and wow. Not only is the decor beautiful but the food was excellent. The chili was the best ive ever had hands down. The owner was so friendly and great to talk to. I really like this place!!

All I can say is. If you’ve never had Lake Varsity. What are you doing with your life? The food here is incredible!!! The onion ring’s, the fries, the fish and chicken tenders and the ketchup!!! . Tried the fried apples and omg incredible!!! 20/20 would highly recommend everyone to try Lake Varsity.

The Lightning B.O.L.T. with smoked Gouda was delish, the fries were the driest and most overcooked I’ve had I think ever. My partner got the Halfback Bacon N’ Cheddar, he described it as dry and adjacent to a frozen burger patty.
Not to mention the constant jumpscares from the booming music throughout our meal, and the super dark interior
The waiter was super helpful and attentive, we were practically the only patrons there though. The fried pie with vanilla ice cream was delish, I would recommend that.

The food taste is fantastic and prices are just right, not expensive. The atmosphere is fun, relaxing. The staff go out of their way to make sure everything is made to the customer’s choice. They are very friendly and I always look forward to my next visit.

Hands down the best diner in Uniontown. The food was AMAZING. Sooooooo delicious and very filling. The diner is super clean – tables aren’t greasy, seats aren’t sticky, you can basically eat off the floor, and the decor is so cute. It’s like going into a Time Machine. Your really get the mom and pop feel from this place and it’s just so welcoming. Colleen was absolutely patient with me as I couldn’t make up my mind- very big menu and everything sounds so good. I’m also gluten intolerant and eat dairy free lol BUUUUUUT she was super accommodating. I had their June special: bbq chicken tacos on a bed of nacho chips (homemade)! She also gave me a side of black eyed peas that was AWESOME! Honestly I can’t tell you how great our first experience was. We are looking forward to coming back. Definitely won’t be the last.

One of our favorite places. We grew up in Lake so it is so fun with all the decor!! The food is all delicious , service is above A+. The owner, Joe makes sure it is all good!! Place is very clean too! We love it, going there today!!!

The food was good and they kept it clean. Prices are a bit high for what you get. The service is not good at all. Every time I go here, they’ll sit or stand around and just gab to each other and not make the customer a priority. Waited to give my order, waited on my bill. Only 2 customers in the place and at least 5 employees. They need to put some effort into the service end of the business.

I loved the atmosphere! The staff was super friendly. The mushroom swiss burger was ammmazing!!!!!!! The pretzel bun it came on was very delicious as well. Not to mention the unlimited couch potatos (fair style fries). The oh so good, creamy and smooth chocolate peanut butter shake was to die for.

This Diner is Uniontowns best kept secret. I believe they have been in business since 2005 and it is a local gem! Great 50’s style diner and the the cleanest restaurant I have ever been to. My wife and daughter had different burgers and both were excellent. The burgers come with never ending fresh cut fries. You probably won’t need a fry refill (the initial portion is huge). I had the steak quesadilla and it was wonderful. Actual thin sliced tender steak with large portion size there too! It comes with excellent fresh made pico on the side and a cream based sauce. The deep fried battered mushrooms were huge and tasted great with ranch dip. The fresh made onion rings are excellent also! Last but certainly not least, The service here is fantastic!
