Since 1997 Pogacha has been owned by Brad and Lisa Cassidy, natives of Washington (with many more years in the restaurant business than we may want to admit) who firmly believe in the culinary arts, and who have adopted a love for quality food prepared simply, freshly, and with care. Our concept has always been to keep the food fresh & local, produce quality in all respects, and make as much as possible from scratch. From our famous Pogacha Bread to hand-selected Fresh Fish, to brined Chicken and scratch Sauces—we’re not trendy, we’re not fancy, and we are high quality at a reasonable price!!!!
Coffee, breakfast & lunch, plus the namesake Croatian flatbread, served in casual cafe environs.

This place was great, the food was absolutely incredible. Our server was absolutely wonderful. The food was in large portions so I was able to take it home and have the rest later! The interior was great the one thing I will say is the canvas paintings were a little odd. The bar is clearly sectioned off and was super cute. They have a selection of cocktails and wines as well!

My boyfriend, dad and I came here the day I drove back up to Washington from California. My bf and I have been living on the Island since July 2024 and have yet to try Pogacha until last week. I’m so glad we did! Portion sizes are very big – definitely can share an entree. We shared the lamb shank that comes with a pasta. So good! We also all shared the veggie appetizer and they give you their pogacha bread to start – I could eat a whole plate of these! I would definitely come back. Not ridiculously priced either.

Outstanding in every way possible. My Cherry Smoked Old Fashion was the best I’ve ever had. The Pogacha, Fire Warmed Goat Cheese, and everything else was clearly prepared with a great deal of expertise and love. Wish I lived closer so I could come here all the time.

The flavor of the food was excellent! The Spicy Prawns along with the Pogacha bread as an appetizer was amazing! Peri peri chicken and the mushroom Ravioli were delicious too, but the Chicken Pizza was a bit bland. A bit pricy for the size of food you get, however the texture, richness, and flavor were top notch!

Wonderful experience! The spring mix salad with lemon vinaigrette and tomato soup is worth the trip. Also the clams are a real treat! Great value, too! FOLLOW ME for more thoughtful recommendations as I travel the world

A very beautiful spacious restaurant with an amazing outdoor patio. We went in around 4pm with our baby and it was pretty less crowded. We picked a window seat. The host was extremely sweet and very accommodating. She bought us warm pogacha bread for starters. It was sooooo yummm. She told us that her recommendations were dijon chicken pasta and dobar chicken pasta. We ordered the Mediterranean power bowl and dijon chicken. Both were good but dijon chicken was soooo delicious. It was a gloomy day so couldn’t use the beautiful patio but overall loved the vibe of this place and the fresh bowl.

Delicious food, friendly staff! Good experience overall! Orange ginger shrimps pasta was amazing and unusual, my hubby had a Dijon chicken and it was also good one though.

We’ve been here for breakfast a few times and really enjoyed it. There’s not many places to get pogachas around here, but theirs were excellent. One of the better spots to eat on Mercer Island.

So great! Classy comfort food and great service. Three of us had 4 appetizers, 1 pizza and 1 entree special. My favourite was the shrimp, the crab cakes, and the roasted goat cheese, but it was really all delicious. I really liked the bread too, a first for me

Great staff and a fine space. We can for lunch and the Pogachas were not available so we got sandwiches and salads instead. I’d skip the salad next time as I could make the same myself but really look forward for coming back for a lunch special or the pogacha. We loved our server as well, so kind.
