Stopped in for a bite to eat with a friend, very simple menu with a focus on burgers I had their spin on a mushroom and Swiss. Definitely enjoyed it. Good atmosphere, and certainly a family run business.
Owner was there and his daughter was serving; after he left later more family came in, she sat down to talk with them, we were kind of forgotten about, granted we had already gotten refills and paid our bill.
I do plan to go back and try their bacon cheeseburger.

Excellent! Lives up to the tag line on the door – definitely the best burger I’ve had in Omaha! Friendly staff, clean and has a very old school feel to it. I had a double cheese burger with everything on it. When i say everything, i mean there was an egg, bacon and traditional toppings too! I couldnt open my mouth wide enough to eat it! So if you’re looking for a true burger joint, stop by!

Delicious burgers and fries!!! Went there this afternoon not knowing what to expect, but the guy that helped us was very pleasant and helpful. They cook the food fresh to order and you can see it being cooked up. We will definitely be going back; this is a place every burger snob/lover should check out!

We found this place when looking for the movie Shack.What a blessing to find outstanding, delicious fresh made hamburgers. .Footlongs are one of my favorites not many places make ones like these. Then there is the chili oh the chili this man knows what he is doing .I have never had better.His seasonings are so different So much variety.Just come and Bless your taste buds .

Went into the “Shack” tonight and it was awesome. Great burger and the pulled pork was savory. Next time I go I’ll definitely get the fries since I read the reviews after going. 5/5 burger for me.

The food was delicious! The waitress (curly red hair! I’m terrible, I l don’t remember her name) she was phenomenal! She went the extra mile for my girls and was a sweetheart! We will be back and soon!

First of all, I love finding small “hole in the wall” type places. I don’t judge a place based on appearance. I can only comment on the cheesy shack burger w/fries. Meat was a preformed, precooked, and frozen patty(think hardee’s patty). Meat was not warm, and patty was flavorless. Veggies and bun were good and fries were ok but chewy like when I bake them at home. Maybe other items on the menu are good. Although, I doubt I return to try anything else.

Love this place, portions are big for price. Food is great. 10/10 would recommend. Gonna bring my family here when they visit from outta state. Nice cozy family owned restaurant.

Love this place. The only thing this establishment does wrong is have a closing time. the food is fantastic and the price honestly is right about where it should be for the whole menu. I promote this place to all my friends because it just damn good food and service.
