There are only a few places in Brandon that have a full vegan menu. This is one of them. It’s unique in that they offer many tasty burger options and walnut meat. That’s totally what lured me here. It’s located in an old plaza on the corner of Robertson and Linsley Ave. There’s a thrift store next door to it.
It’s currently not open for dine in. It’s a fairly new business that is still growing. I honestly wouldn’t have known about it if it wasn’t for Yelp reviews. I’m so glad I read them. It was a quick and simple ordering process via the Toast app. I didn’t have to scan the QR code or call them to place the order. It’s great because the menu shows what they currently have available.
It was a tough decision, but I ended up getting the Big Poppin Dill Burger and the Gingerbread Oatmeal Cream Sammy. The burger comes with seasoned waffle fries. The waffle fries are fantastic! The burger was tasty but just a tad too salty for me. I’m not sure if it was the seasoning on the grilled PB burger patty or the batter on the fried dill pickle spears. Others who are not sensitive to salt may disagree. The special sauce was also good. It was kind of like a ketchup with mayo type sauce (but definitely no mayo). I drizzled a little on the burger and dipped my waffle fries into it. It was a good pairing. The cookie sandwich was amazeballs! Seriously one of the best vegan stuffed cookie sandwiches I’ve had in a while. It was huge. It took me a few days to eat it all.
The only thing that I think would make the process of curbside pick up a little smoother would be to maybe add the make/model/color of your car as a note to the order. The event place where the food is cooked to order has very dark windows. They can see you, but you can’t see them. I got there way too early. There were other cars waiting with me. The nice lady (who I think was the owner) did come out to check on us at the appropriate time.
It’s great to have another vegan option in Brandon. I’m not vegan, but I do try to eat less meat and more plants. I can’t wait to try the walnut meat next time and maybe a different burger option. The ginger lemonade looks great too.

Dang good I wanted to stop my truck and get out and celebrate in the rain. I found Poppin Vegan on yelp and was a little apprehensive because there weren’t any reviews. But took a chance and ordered then I got a little scared when I try to find the place as it looked a little shady because their name isn’t on the plaza anywhere. But baby let me tell you I’m so glad that I took the chance because the burger was aaaaaamazing! Whoever said vegan cheese, doesn’t melt need to go check them out it was delicious! The waffle fries, delicious the sauce, delicious. If you are looking for a vegan spot, check out Poppin vegan.

So, so good. We’ve only tried maybe 4-5 vegan places in the area but this place was the most amazing one we’ve been to by far. Highly recommend the loaded fries and the oyster mushroom po-boy.

The food and customer service was phenomenal! A must eat for foodies and/or vegan food! I’m not vegan but I definitely enjoy it as a healthy option when it’s prepared with the right flavors. I had the pineapple bowl, cupcakes, and lemonade with ginger in it.
The owner even gave me a red velvet cupcake to try before it hit the menu! Boom, too good!

I put a thumbs down on the review for my email, because I was genuinely confused on where this place was… I guess it’s inside an event center and there’s one sign on the outside of the location on Google, so I was genuinely confused. The phone number was also not working so I couldn’t get in contact with anybody so I drove away. I got a call from somebody that works there. She brought up my food to the car and I take back my negative review the food was very good. The burger was absolutely delicious. Was just very confused on the location of the place. It didn’t seem like an actual place. I guess they’re only take out and delivery! Which obviously makes sense now I’m new to the area so I didn’t know that about this place when I place my order! But thank you for a delicious lunch. It was amazing! 🙂

Delicious vegan meal that was fresh, flavorful, and a huge portion. I was able to have two meals out of the crispy (breaded) hearts of palm, creamy mac n cheese, seasoned Cajun fries, and side spinich/berry ginger salad. Service was friendly and quick. So glad to have more vegan options so close to home!

Best vegan food I’ve had in a long time. We got the TexMex Tacos, one jackfruit and one walnut and they were both fantastic. The ginger lemonade also tastes great. Definitely recommend for easy, delicious vegan takeout!

I went to this location hoping to indulge in what seemed to be a pretty good menu and from the reviews looked like a good choice to dine here. When I arrived the place appeared to be closed thinking I could enter a woman came to the door and informed me that you can only do online orders or have it delivered. I chose to place the order online from my car. Unfortunately when I attempted to place an order practically everything on the menu stated out of stock. The only thing available were vegan or plant-based burgers. This was very disappointing. I would love to give a better review but how can I if there isn’t any food to review. Maybe next time.

Just wanted to show some love and say your food is delicious. I know some people are upset about arriving and not being able to dine in or wait on their order but it’s well worth the wait and I appreciate the attention that was put into my delicious vegan food because it’s so hard to find quality vegan food. I can’t wait to try to taco bowl next! I hope you continue to flourish with this and since I got a new job nearby I’ll be back!
