This place is SO good. The staff is so attentive and the food is great. The quality of food for the price is great and they also have a sashimi all you can eat that I look forward to trying! This will definitely be my go-to all you can eat sushi place from now on!

My son and I went to Asahi Sushi in Yorktown and was extremely disappointed with the service and food. The rice was cold and hard. Should be warm and fresh. The fish was bland. It took forever to get service. I’ve been here many times and always raved but the service and quality are tanking. I won’t be back.

Let me update everyone. I’m done with Asahi. The quality and the service has become horrific. Also if you don’t look at your bill you will be charged a gratuity. Yes, they are adding a tip even if you are a party of two. This is a horrible and dishonest way of doing business.

Haru in Williamsburg is awesome. There’s more room. The service is excellent. The sushi is out of this world. The pricing is better. Go to Haru and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed !!

I’ve had so much sushi over the years, but this place absolutely lives up to its reputation as the best sushi in town! The fish is incredibly fresh – and professionals are creating the dishes. The presentation of each dish is like a work of art. I highly recommend the Wonton soup (bursting with flavor), Godzilla & Volcano roll. The servers here are one of a kind. I come often so they know me and my children and are always happy to serve us. Whether you’re a sushi aficionado or trying it for the first time, this spot is a must-visit. I crave their sushi weekly and it has become my treat that I know will satisfied all my cravings.

Great experience at this sushi restaurant! Tom provided excellent service, knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to our needs. He made great recommendations and ensured our glasses were always full. The sushi was fresh and delicious, with a variety of options to suit every taste. Highly recommend!

Friendly and fast service during a short weekday lunch. Fairly priced, nice portion. Pictured is 13.95 lunch special with pick 3 rolls, choice of salad or soup. Wasn’t the best in flavor, but certainly wasn’t bad! I’m still in search of delicious sushi in the Hampton Roads area. Update: We had lunch again. This time, it was a Saturday afternoon prior to the restaurant closing at 3 to re open at 4:30 for the evening crowd. We shared a Japanese shrimp fried rice. We both enjoyed the dish thoroughly. It was served right off the grill, hot and steamy. There were plenty of delicious, good-sized shrimp. They were fresh and delicious. The rice had a lot of butter from the cook top. However, it was still flavorful. There were mixed veggies and eggs in the rice. We also shared shrimp Tempura 5 was tasty, but only 5 pieces from the entire roll. The eel sauce is a thick, sweet sauce drizzled atop. It is not the best shrimp tempura, but the actual panko is very thin, and the shrimp are nicely fried. We had the Philly Roll, which is consistent. The cream cheese is not the best I’ve had, and I would prefer the pieces sliced thinner, but it’s fresh salmon and delicious sushi rice. We also had smoked salmon w cucmber roll and a smoked salmon with avocado roll. Both were equally delicious. The restaurant does have a distinct smell, likely from the raw fish. It is not foul but undeniable.

Asahi is a standout! The variety of Japanese and Chinese dishes makes every visit fun — sushi rolls are fresh and flavorful, and the portions are generous. The all-you-can-eat deals are a steal, especially for sushi lovers. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is comfortable, clean, with a relaxed feel. It’s one of the best casual spots in Yorktown for mixed Asian cuisine — highly recommend!

Delicious, love, and all you can eat. Plus, it’s on the same block as a massage center and MatW wrestling even across the street.. It was a great date night. Get a massage, eat some sushi, and go watch some wrassling.
