Aboveboard experience. Food was unbelievable. The Babdeja was $27 but was enough to feed 3 people! There was a complete flank steak that was well over a pound and so tender! Everything was Devine!!! And I don’t know how they mixed it but the “Crown and Coke “ was a slushy and it was strong and had cinnamon or another seasoning in it that was wonderful!!!!!

Overall, the restaurant is very clean and rustic in design. The staff is very friendly. The food is excellent and the price is very good. I had the beef enchiladas, refred beans and rice, chips and salsa and a drink for under $12. That’s hard to find in a chain restaurants

My little family have been regulars here for a couple of years now. Keep in mind, this place is fusion food (a spin on traditional Latin dishes) and cozy (smaller place due to great location right off Main downtown). With all of this in mind, we have always been treated like family here. We have a toddler, so this is important to us as I’m sure everyone is aware they’re not always the best behaved even though we try. The owner is extremely outspoken, kind and hardworking. The food is great, portions are HUGE for the price you pay (so you’re definitely leaving with leftovers). Since the food is great, it does get very busy, and the wait staff/place are small so be sure to expect a wait. I love supporting this place, and its people.
By the way, I highly recommend the beer-rita!

Went here for a client lunch meeting. The food was really good but the services was severely lacking. It was empty with four other tables and three severs. People asked multiple times for additional salsa. (And hotter salsa) came at end of meal, no chip refills, drinks were always empty.
Served was EXTREMELY nice but the other people with me got a bit irritated by lack of service. Overall the food had a nice zest to it. I got the fajitas and it was loaded with meat!
Good place overall.

This was our first time here and we feel in love with this place, the food is amazing, the vibe is great. This is a family own and operated restaurant and we had the best service for a Friday evening. Thank you Mirtha and Salvador and to your wonder staff for making our first time/date night a time to remember. We live in Addison, and we sure will make the drive to come back. I would recommend, the Peruvian combination fried rice or the Chile rellenos, you will not be disappointed.

Meh. Two tacos, rice and beans…. for $15? Just go to salsa Verde. This is for the pseudo high class fools that don’t know authentic Mexican cuisine. Microwaved rice with no bounce or flavor.
Salsa Verde is their claimed “spicy” salsa. It is not in the least. If you’re looking for anything spicy. This place is not it.
The drink glass (empty) weighs more than their servings of food.

Such a cute place to grab dinner! They even have happy hour on Saturday! The bar area was really lively. We went with a group of 10 and we were in and out in 1 1/2 hours!!! The food was great. You must try the chili relleno. It’s grilled, not fried and had a wonderful roasted taste. The kids chicken strips were great and a lot of food!

First time going with friends and the waiter started off okay but then did not end well. Wait time for our drinks took long and he never returned to check on us. We were on the patio so, as I went in to the bathroom, I asked for another round of drinks. The 2nd round took 20 min or so to receive. Our food was cold upon arrival and then the staff felt bothered when we asked could they warm it up. To be fair the food was delicious and a good portion but it was cold. Our waiter did not return to attend to us other than leave the bill and walked away. I’d give it another chance because the food was good but a different waiter. The vibe was good and they played good music.

My wife and I went there for a date night. We ordered several items a d weren’t disappointed. The portion size is great and the quality of the food was good. We have gone a few times with our kids and they love it.

My experience was overall really good. You have to understand that this is a Latin Fusion place which means they put a twist on traditional Latin dishes. They do have some unadulterated items like fajitas and beans and rice. Other items like the chiles rellenos are half stuffed and then layered with additional cheese, instead of stuffing the poblano pepper with all the cheese. As far as the taste and presentation – delicious and creative!
Downside: water has traces of “tap” taste and the menus shown on the reviews are outdated. I went in originally intrigued by a photo someone posted of a stuffed tuna avocado which they no longer offered. The server said they change the menu every 6 months.
