We make our own base to make our own ice cream from scratch along with homemade pies and apple crisp and sell apples as they ripen from our orchards. A beautiful trip out that’s not really that far from town. Stop in and see what real ice cream tastes like.

LOVE THE ICE CREAM FLIGHTS. Was passing through town and decided to stop by, and I’m so glad I did! Had a hard time choosing between so many delicous flavors, I reccomend the maple walnut & blueberry pie

Open Friday, Saturday, Sunday only this time of year, January & February. It’s winter time, most ice cream shops are closed! Isn’t that against the law!? Richardsons is not only open, but they have maybe 30 or 40 flavors!! How crazy is that! I didn’t count, but it sure looked like it! In the middle of winter! Park right in the barn yard. Go through the double doors and be greeted by the nicest young lady, all bundled up, because it’s cold in there. I got a large scoop of black raspberry and another scoop of orange pineapple! Outstanding flavor! Tastes like summer!! No inside seating, because the space is all taken up with ice cream making equipment! Really! Made right there. Best ice cream I’ve had this year, and last year!

Amazing pies, sweet treats for everyone, ice cream and more!! Can’t find better home made ice cream, on the east coast, than at Richardsons! I love the seasonal flavors but i also drool over everything because they really take time and energy, to make the PERFECT batch of delicious icecream. 12/10 recommend! Mr Richardson and his daughter Rebecca, were so kind to donate their homemade icecream, to some veterans this past year, 2025. You’ll find the plaque inside the shop.. Can’t ask for nicer people or a better environment, to relax and enjoy your free time at, whether your with your family, friends or yourself.

This is the best ice cream I have ever had. The flavors are creative, you can get flights, they make their own waffle cones. Their homemade baked goods are amazing. We have 4 hand packed pints in our freezer all the time!!!!

Definitely off the beaten path, but well worth the drive. Obviously I’m not the only one who thinks so, because on a autumnal Sunday afternoon they were very busy. The consensus is clear: Richardson’s has amazing ice cream, in a delightful setting, with friendly workers.
Special kudos for the Gingersnap and Strawberry-Rhubarb ice creams. Seriously excellent.

This is my family’s favorite ice cream place, I can’t eat ice cream but they have some of the best sorbets, usually 4 or 5 fruit ones like cherry and blue berry, as others have stated, you can only use cash, but it helps keep prices lower, they also sell pies and other yummy things! Open year round, but the schedule changes with the seasons!

Delicious ice cream worth the trip! I got cookie dough and Oreo with hot fudge and really enjoyed them. The cookie dough could use more dough but I say that every time. The amount of hot fudge was generous so I was very pleased. My wife got coffee Oreo and chocolate brownie with hot fudge. She said they were really good. We’ll be coming back for sure!

Amazing, homemade ice cream with such a great variety of flavors. We got 2 flights and need to go back and get 2 more. The almond joy and frozen pudding were so good. Irish coffee was also a hit.

Good ice-cream. I had the chocolate peppermint with a cone on top. Lots of places to sit. Tiny store selling baked goods, ice-cream by the container, apples and squash. Cash only for the ice-cream, which they say they make themselves. Farm looks a little rundown. Entertainment was watching farming equipment being loaded on a small flatbed trailer. Porta potty available.
For the ice-cream, I recommend a visit.

Amazing ice cream in a beautiful, rural setting, with super friendly service! What else could you ask for?? We got 2 flights and everything was really good, but the stand-out flavors for us were the pumpkin, black raspberry, and key lime pie. So dense and creamy! We brought home a pint of the KLP and it won’t be the last. We will be back!
