I had a great experience at this restaurant, and a big part of that was thanks to Alex. She was friendly, professional, and made the whole visit feel welcoming from the start. It’s always nice to see someone who clearly cares about doing their job well and making customers feel valued.
Alex handled my order quickly and made sure everything was correct. Even though it was a busy time, she stayed positive, patient, and polite with everyone. The food came out fresh and fast, and her great attitude really stood out.
Employees like Alex make a big difference in the overall experience. I hope the restaurant knows they have a great team member in Alex!

Jan.26th. 8:18pm. Drive thru. Ordered the 3 piece $5 special, bone in. Came fast, came hot and tasted fresh. Regular customer. Met at the drive in window by two young ladies. Friendly. Got treated very well and that brings customers back. Thanks to both. Wish I knew their names. Would have made my comments more personal. Could have gone to that other place with the red and white bucket but wouldn’t get nearly as good food or service.

We visited the 23 mile road Popeyes location in Shelby Township and were really impressed with how good the food was. The chicken tenders were fresh, piping hot and the breading had the perfect amount of crunch. The coleslaw was creamy with just the right amount of sweetness, the mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy,, and the cajun fries were really good too!
It was our server’s 3rd day and he was extremely patient and helpful -He didn’t seem to mind that we took awhile to figure out our order. After we finished our meals I spoke with the manager to let him know how impressed I was with his store as we have had less than wonderful experiences at other locations. A good manager makes all the difference, and you can tell this young man was really on top of things. We will definitely be back next time we pass through Shelby Twp.

So bad. The chicken shown was supposed to be 4 different sauced boneless wings. Instead I got all of the same overcooked, dry and inedible mystery breaded meat chunks from what I assume to be the waste bin. Thanks for nothing! They should honestly just close the store this is so bad.

Drive Thru… 2 strikes your out!! The classic chicken sandwich was half the size of the bun, no pickles, just a pea size dab of sauce, on both sandwiches. I placed an order about a month ago and the chicken was so tuff.. could not bite into the sandwich. Popeyes use to have a really good chicken sandwich… I would not eat at this location. Or maybe dine in and you could possibly exchange for another or get a refund. Very, Very disappointing !!

Not sure what the point of waiting till a customer picks up their online order and then dropping it in the fryers to be made. This restaurant never seems to actually be able to give people a time when their order is ready, but when you suddenly show up for it after any amount of time, suddenly they’re dropping at all in the fryers . You could’ve been waiting 20 minutes to half an hour and then suddenly you’re there and it’s like “oh this needs to be made” . Understandable that the food is hot, but why can’t they start to get it ready when the order is placed? I think it’s terrible that if I waited half an hour to come in, and I get there and you guys haven’t even dropped the chicken yet and then I’m waiting another 10 to 15 minutes, who does that? And there’s never any sort of apology or anything like that we’re sorry for making you wait or anything. Could just be how anybody under the age of 40 runs a customer service these days.

I don’t think that the two can dine, five piece meal is a deal. I received a very small breast that looked like it was a thigh, and four wings when I selected white meat. The sides are single serving sized as well. It tasted great but it’s really a snack for two. My response to the Popeye’s owner’s response added on 2-9-2026. Thanks for your response. Can you please advise if the employees at this location are approved to serve 4 wings and 1 small breast for the five piece white meat, two can dine meal? I expected at least two breasts.

NEVER going here again. We had to wait 30 MINUTES for 3 meals. They had the worst chicken of all time biscuits were super dry. Not to mention the fries were cold, the Mac An Cheese was probably left out for hours and it’s SUPER dirty honestly this was the best part XD

Got to the drive through around 5:15ish to get my mobile order. Was asked to pull around. Did not get my order until just before 5:40. The employee finally came out and said, “Oh, I had no idea you were still waiting. That order is sitting here.”
