The experience includes a five-course meal served in an intimate, beautifully decorated (dark and macabre) dining room that seats 22 guests. We ordered the prime rib and pheasant, both of which were tender, flavorful, and skillfully prepared.
The service was attentive and professional throughout the evening, ensuring our glasses stayed full and each course arrived at just the right pace. What really elevated the experience was Doug Brewer’s magic performance. He’s an engaging entertainer who works the room, making sure every guest feels included in the experience.
The themes rotate throughout the year, so I highly recommend checking their website early and booking in advance. This is a memorable dining experience that combines excellent food with interactive entertainment, perfect for special occasions or anyone looking to break away from the typical dinner routine.
Let’s kick this one off with the atmosphere that has some very interesting and awesome props throughout the welcome area leading into the dining room. The dining room area is amazing filled with details, very cozy setting, and definitely fill like you be welcomed into magical room. My only issue is the room is very cozy and you are sitting really close to everyone. There is a seating for two on a high top table not at the main table I wish I would done for a date type seating option.
The service was outstanding, coordinated, structured course meal, menu selected during reservation, and the staff dressed the part. The servers were fun, role played a bit, and set the stage for the comedian. The comedian was fun, got tricks, evolved us all into the magic, and kept us on our toes. The comedians change all the time so entertainment could vary but I am sure they are selective to keep people coming back.
Now Now on to the FOOD! The food was delicious. Everything is very well plated. The starter a kabob was very good 9/10. The salad was small but was packed with flavors 8/10. The Berry Sorbet and Palate Cleanser was really delicious while doing the job 10/10 (rare 10/10). The Prime Rib and Asparagus was outstanding cooked to a perfect medium 9/10. Some of the cooks on the prime rib were a little off mentioned by my guest. Overall really good, I will be back!!
It was worth every penny and the show was amazing. It left us wondering how that was possible without real magic. I love that they change things for the Halloween season and Christmas season. We can’t wait to come back for Christmas!
All of the courses were excellent – I’m a foodie and was impressed. I had cucumber canapes, salad, sorbet, prime rib (what I selected for an entree), and carrot cake. We had a nice time chatting with the people we sat next to. We sat at the head of the table – it was nice because we had a nice view of the room and it was only the two of us at the end.
The magic show was very engaging – lots of audience participation 🙂
They serve you all your courses first before the show which helps keep your attention during the magic. They do a little interaction & magic in between courses with the host (not featured magician) which helps because it is a little awkward being in a small room of other people who you may not know. It can be a bit quiet & conversation does take some warming up but it is a good opportunity to meet people.
Note that because there’s a show involved & multiple courses, you don’t have a lot of time between courses given they’re on a strict timeline. So if you’re a slow eater like me you’ll end up taking some leftovers home (which isn’t the worst considering how much food you get)!
