Seems like a lower end, but clean bar with above average food for a bar. The centerpieces seem to be pulled pork and chicken. They are offered various ways and are worthy. The deviled eggs are particularly good.

The salad I had was tired. Advertised as a Wedge, but was a bowl of chopped lettuce from a bag. Service is friendly and seems to be family run. A very basic offering of liquor.

To my mind this is a decent lunch spot.

Today I watched the waitress bring out food to the table near by. I listened closely to see what she said each entree was because they all looked so appetizing. The one that truly caught my eye was the Cuban (this surprised me). I truly was amazed with this food. The side I got was the hash brown casserole and it did not disappoint. Pickle was spot on too. I highly recommend going here to eat. I would be shocked if you got something that disappointed you. Thanks Woody’s for a great lunch!!

We love coming to woody’s bbq for a relaxed dinner out! The menu has a wide range of options. I recommend the daily deviled eggs. They are HUGE and it rotates the type they are. Pictured are the pulled pork and slaw eggs. The portions of the food for dinner are huge for the money! I always bring some food home with me. They have a great beer and wine list too!

Pictured are the Cuban sandwich (as listed on menu) with a loaded baked potato and the bbq bowl (with no collards and double slaw). Everything is well seasoned. My favorite meat there is the pulled pork. The food is getting 4 stars because their sauce is not my favorite. It is very vinegar based and I am more of a sweet bbq sauce person. But that is my only complaint about the food.

The atmosphere is very laid back. They have lots of TV’s. They always have some kind of spots on, which I really enjoy for some entertainment. They have a patio with picnic tables and umbrellas outside too.

Service can sometimes be a little slow, but I actually enjoy that, it gives me more time to chat with friends and sip on my drink. Staff are consistently friendly, helpful, and happy to answer questions. This is a place I’ll go back to.

All the food is fantastic and fresh! Great portions, full of complex flavors and desserts that will please your palette. Beer, wine and liquer selections are hand picked for quality and flavors. Only regret is we did not find it sooner.

This one blew us away! We were a group of 16 high school baseball players and parents on a Friday night. The staff quickly accommodated our seating needs. Drinks were promptly refilled, and food started to arrive shortly after ordering. We had the Sausage Party and Nachos to start. One boy had the Barnyard Burger, which was huge! My husband had the Sampler Platter. Several ordered the wings. The food portions were massive and perfectly prepared!

First time visiting ,on the hunt for BBQ and this place is more than satisfying. We were greeted at the door, the atmosphere was well lit with friendly staff waiting to serve us quickly. A nice surprise was to see a familiar face on staff that made us feel comfortable right away. We got drinks and ordered right away. During our wait we looked around at the decor and we’re told that everything had a personal meaning to the owner. We are both military veterans so we were drawn to the owners grandfather’s photos from WW2, what a wonderful memorial. The Oak Ridge article and photos of the shop are a great introduction as well. Now to THE FOOD……
Absolutely deliciously smoked. We shared the sampler with chicken, brisket and sausage. All well done and perfectly smoked. We had the pit beans for a side and did not disappoint. I only wanted more, lol. The peach cobbler topped off the night . We will definitely return again and again. Not only is this conveniently located right off Illinois, but it’s the best place in town. See y’all there.

Food was good and the Place was nice and clean looking. I had the Sloppy Tater and the Mrs. Had the loaded Mac n Cheese and we both enjoyed our meal. Only downfall was the service. I would have gotten another beer but once our food came the waiter never came back till I had been out of beer and done eating for a few minutes. Otherwise it was good but probably won’t go back.

I would have never known this was here if another restaurant owner hadn’t told me about it. I drive by it everyday. 🙂 Dropped in for lunch after church. The restaurant was clean. Food made to order. Friendly staff. I got the burger, simple and delicious. Their spicy cole slaw is great! Mom enjoyed her BLT. Ill definitely be back to try the wings.
