Nice place with funny decorations (plants in coffee mugs). Good people working there.
However, the most important thing, coffee, didn’t impress me. Espresso was pretty average.
It is good for being an hotel coffee tho.

Grabbed a latte and breakfast two days last week at 6:55-7:00am when visiting the Marriott for some meetings. Both lattes I had were VERY delicious and the fruit cup was fresh and light. Please visit if you’re around. Plus, I loved their plants!!

Traveling for work I visit my fair share of hotel coffee shops. The expectation is never too much given the ambiguous generalization for most establishments.
I was a pleasantly surprised by the offerings and amenities available here. There are a wide range of options and most importantly on multiple occasions during my stay the staff were prompt, knowledgeable, and accommodating.
The same city and local themes of the hotel were carried out throughout this coffee bar. It was enjoyable to have this option without leaving the comfort of the hotel. I’m looking forward to my next visit to Portland as I’ll be sure to return!

Good quick breakfast place tucked away in the Marriott. Espresso drinks up to Portland standards. Breakfast burrito is hefty and flavorful. Not your average hotel cafe!

I understand that things happen, however, please don’t advertise that you’re open at 6am if you’re still working to set up things at 6:45am.

Find this hidden gem, the coffee and ambience are solid with great spots for meetings and lovely decor/lighting for the dark rainy days.

This place is located in the Marriott downtown riverfront. It’s a very nice little coffee shop that has food as well. Their coffee is delicious. It is on the stronger side which I prefer. I had lunch here one day and had their crispy chicken sandwich and it was delightful very large. I also had a side salad and it was great as well. I highly recommend this place. The prices are good. The staff is super friendly, I do highly recommend this place.

The coffee here is good. The $25 breakfast buffet was really bad. It consisted of eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, a few croissants, and stuff to make toast. The eggs were gross, the sausage looked grey and not well cooked, the toaster didn’t work well and the croissant was stale. The bacon wasn’t the worst I’ve had but that didn’t save the whole meal. I’ve had better free breakfasts at a La Quinta. Eat here only if it’s your only option.
