As part of our Hamlin Center “extravaganza,” where we were hopping around and grabbing one item at each place, we decided to stop by Maple Street Biscuit Company in Winter Garden, and it did not disappoint. We went with the Squawking Goat, and honestly, it might be one of the best biscuit sandwiches we’ve ever had.
First, the fried goat cheese was perfectly cooked. It had just the right amount of tang and creaminess, and the crisped exterior added a nice texture contrast. Combined with the piece of fried chicken, it created a satisfying bite that was savory but not overwhelming. The sweet chili pepper jelly topping added a hint of heat and sweetness that tied everything together beautifully. I appreciated that they didn’t overdo the toppings, each component could shine without being lost in sauces or extras.
Then, there’s the biscuit itself. Maple Street consistently nails it, and this visit was no exception. The biscuit was golden brown, soft, and fluffy, with a slightly crispy bottom that just fell apart in your mouth. It had the perfect balance of buttery flavor and lightness, which made each bite melt effortlessly. The craftsmanship that goes into the biscuit is clear, and it’s one of the reasons their sandwiches stand out.

I have been seeing this place advertised in places and I love biscuits, so I had to try it out. We ordered 2 classic biscuits , that have the smash browns egg and cheese. And 1 kids waffle.
The sandwiches were “ok”. Very dry and not what I was hoping for. They make their biscuits fresh and you can see that. They could have been a lot lighter and fluffier.
The kids waffle was amazing though. Chocolate chip waffle with strawberry and whipped cream and maple syrup. My kid ate every bite, which says a lot.
The atmosphere is very nice. We were able to sit and enjoy the restaurant for a while. The staff is very nice and helpful. And endless coffee is a definite plus!!!
Overall, I would try this location again because they have some very unique offerings on their menu.

Nice location. Service and staff were nice. That’s it. Food was not hitting. Not sure if my expectations were set to high. Bacon was not fully cooked. Really chewy. Biscuit was crispy (which dont mind) but also cold like it was just sitting. The smash browns were mid, lacked flavor. The egg was the best part. The apple juice was disguisting. Won’t be returning. Sucks because i was hoping to like it

Overall a decent place. Food was good and there was plenty of it. A unique combo of foods to try. One of the employees was rather loud during our visit. We all knew what she was doing later that day. Wish we had some earplugs. Will visit again and try some other things.

Amazing food, sit down restaurant quality food at counter service price and atmosphere. The biscuits and gravy are delicious and the sausage is good quality. The eggs they make are always cooked exactly perfect.
Julie (Jules) is the best! She is so nice and makes the experience so much better. Feels like you’re at a local diner the way she is welcoming everyone and giving great recommendations!

Now my favorite breakfast and brunch spot. Super friendly staff, always positive, kind greetings, and I’ve always had them visit my table at least once while dining in. Food quality and presentation are consistently good. And the cleanliness is always excellent in this Establishment.

Nothing special. I had a sausage egg and cheese biscuit sandwich. It wasn’t hot. Biscuit was on the dry side.
Their smash browns were good, but the size consistency was off. In an order of two, one was big, one was tiny
The cinnamon biscuit roll was ok. A bit on the Pillsbury cinnamon roll taste wise, which I don’t care for.
I wouldn’t run back for it. Especially with it being almost $7 for a biscuit sandwich.

consistently delicious food but today I have to give a huge thank you to the amazing staff! Always friendly and fast. Julie brought our drinks out to our car unprompted in 20 degree weather today ❤️! Thankyou so much staff and Julie you guys and girls are the reason we keep coming back.
