The ice cream store is located in downtown Ball Ground. There are a few sea outside. It was busy last night, and outside seating was not an option. It is a clean location, has an average ice cream selection, with most flavors focused on kids. Good firmness, creamy, good waffle quality, optional beverages, and fair pricing. Good place to enjoy an afternoon ice cream. My score a 4.6.

Been here twice. First experience was a 10/10! Ordered the same thing my second go around (brownie sundae with coffee ice cream) and was served 1/4 of a brownie with half a scoop of completely melted ice cream topped with piping hot fudge. The cup was 1/3 full….I brought it up to the lady working, assuring her that the $9 sundae was much larger last time (filled the cup). The worker made it in layers and it was delicious. Her response “oh it was probably one of my young/new girls that didn’t know what they were doing”. I asked for extra brownie and was given another 1/4 of one on top of my melted ice cream. The cup not half full. The worker was extremely aware of our discontent and we were met with no solution. The way she was talking sadly sounds like she’s in management, so, for the price/product we won’t be back.

Got a double scoop of ice cream they called ” peanut butter pie.” It was like pure heaven for me. So if you’re a peanut butter nut like me, I promise it will be the best desert you’ve ever had. The shop has friendly staff and a great out of the ordinary atmosphere that makes it a real treat. I highly recommend you visit and try the peanut butter pie! You can thank me later.

So the owner of Jill’s, Jill reached out to me about our not so terrific experience.
“Hey, Adam! I’m sorry for your kiddie cones. I have new trainees and it’s a learning curve that I wish none of my customers ever had to deal with. Please understand it was a matter of an accident rather than a new shrinkflation style protocol if you will. I’ve refunded your money and hope to have you return in the future. Thank you, Jill”
Thanks to Jill reaching out and handling her response in the most professional and in an honest manor! We will try another go around at Scooped! I always appreciate it when an Owner and or Manager reaches out to make things right. I always say it’s how you handle a poor experience with a customer and that’s how you should be measured as much or as more then the poor experience itself. Kudos to Jill!!!

We’ve had ice cream here dozens of times before without issue. But we’ve never received a one scoop so small in our lives. This establishment should be ashamed to hand out cones for a 5 and under child to an adult. It was not even a full scoop. And the service of warmth and friendliness was non existent. We would say something but there is no supervision while we were here. Go-to DQ in Jasper or Canton and you’llhave a much better customer service and qualityexperience.

TALK ABOUT GOOD YUMMY ICE CREAM!!! Emma and Jill were the two lovely employees and owner I got to meet when I came in for the first time and let me be the first to tell you guys this ice cream was to die for!!! Such a friendly environment to come with your family and let me tell you mothers you in fact will not feel guilty after eating this delicious ice cream;)
