For our first order, we tried the black sesame matcha, americano, cappuccino, and the breakfast plate with turkey bacon.
Drinks:
Americano – It was a bit mediocre. I would recommend trying one of their specialty coffees instead.
Black Sesame Matcha – The flavor was rich and delicious. Highly recommended!
Cappuccino – Strong and rich coffee flavor. Definitely recommended.
Food:
The bread was fresh and evenly buttered, and the bacon was well cooked. The eggs were perfectly prepared, and the salad dressing complemented the meal nicely.
Dessert:
Einspaner iced matcha, Einspaner iced coffee, chocolate cookie
Iced drinks were all rich flavor and delicious. Cookie was well balanced butter and salt. Highly recommend.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience, especially if you enjoy flavorful specialty drinks.
Got the cardamom iced latte and avocado toast with an egg. The coffee was great (look at the color!), and while pricey, the toast was HUGE and loaded with toppings and tasted very nice. The toast had like a whole avocado on it haha. Note: It does also come with a little chili oil, which I love but just noting since the menu doesn’t.
The deal-makers for me were also: the parking was easy, there were so so many working outlets for charging phones/laptops, there was free and good wifi, there was plenty of comfy seating. As a student, these are really a determining factor of whether I come back to a café.
Only complaint other than prices is the place was minimalistic, a little cold-feeling rather than cozy, which, eh yknow? Also, the food took a little while to come out, but that didn’t bother me much since I was dining in/studying anyway.
Overall, will probably be back next time I’m nearby with work/study to do.
Service was a bit mixed: the person who prepared and served my drinks was very courteous and friendly, which I appreciated. However, the cashier lacked any warmth or smile, making the initial interaction feel a little cold.
On the drinks:
The hot coffee was unfortunately lukewarm when served—not hot as expected.
The Passion Fruit Yuzu Refresher was tasty overall and refreshing, but I couldn’t detect any hint of yuzu, which was disappointing since that’s a highlighted flavor.
The Matcha Latte was a standout—rich, well-made, and delicious.
The Iced Chai was just okay—nothing special, but drinkable.
Overall, it’s a nice casual café with strong potential, especially for matcha lovers. I’d return to try more from their specialty menu, but hope for hotter drinks and a friendlier front-of-house experience next time. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.
The cappuccino was perfect — beautifully balanced, not over-roasted, and incredibly delicious. The croissants and buns were fresh and amazing.
I truly love coffee, and after moving from New York to New Jersey, it was so hard to find a place with this level of quality. This is now my favorite spot.
If you love great coffee, you have to come and try this place. Simply incredible!
