Food, drink and service were great. The service actually was a little too much or overboard. The waiter was waiting at the table as we were being seated and instantly asked if we knew what we were having to which it was our first visit there and had no idea. He then asked for drinks and brought back fairly quickly and again asked if we knew what we wanted. Hardly had time to go over the menu. He did the same to a gentleman they seated next to us and he had to tell him he wanted to look over the menu. Maybe he assumes everyone has been there many times and know right off what they want upon being seated.
As I mentioned, the Prickly Pear Margarita was very good and both burritos, the chicken and breakfast were also good. It does irritate me when they charge $4.15 for a soda and also limit you to one refill. Soda syrup cost roughly 10 cents a glass. I wish restaurants did not feel the need to gouge you on it.

Chile peppers is Americanized Mexican food which sometimes I crave, but the service is amazing. Julia was our waitress and was awesome… service was fast and efficient. Great for kids. Good margaritas too! We are locals and regulars here. Highly recommend for the atmosphere and ease of it! Good bar ahead too with TVs.

This place is a true Tex-Mex restaurant. The family runs it and is from the border. They are welcoming and friendly. The food is fantastic. The kids meals are proportioned well enough to suit my 12 year old. Happy hour is the best too as it’s usually buy one get one free. I will be back and often.

Came here with my fiance during a rainy day in St. Simon’s. The food was fantastic! Between being seated and paying our bill, our server changed 4 times and the final person who administered most of our meal had a very odd attitude that we didn’t enjoy.

we had an evening meal here after reading the reviews. I am afraid the food wasnt as good as the reviews led me to believe. However, it was adequate. Service was very quick with an attentive waitress. Restaurant was fairly busy.

Julia is by far the best server!! My first time coming and she is definitely the reason I will be back! She made my experience wonderful from the beginning to the end!!! Food was amazing and very authentic!!

We come to St Simmons at least twice a year and always eat here. It’s always fresh and delicious! Any negative reviews has to be an off day because we haven’t been disappointed! 🙂
