Cute, cozy bar serving Asian fusion menu items. Tokki is located in a cluster of retail and restaurant buildings. Upon entering you sense a trendy vibe. The dining area has booths and seating with armchairs. You’re immediately greeted by the bartender who also moonlights as your delightful and friendly server. You quickly learn that this place is a local spot. They offer variety of specials during the week such as Sunday night karaoke and several nights of live entertainment during the week.
Ordered the bulgogi lettuce wrap(combo pork and beef, additional charge if one or the other). Serving size was enough for 2 to share. Lettuce was fresh and crisp. Bulgogi was well seasoned, came with freshly grated wasabi (rare find). Also ordered the bento box which comes with rice and your choice of 4 sides. Everything was well seasoned, lightly battered and fried without being greasy or over fried. Will definitely come back to try their ramen next time!

We stopped at Tokki on a Friday at about 7. We were greeted right away. There was a jazz-style band playing, the place was small and was packed. We did not have a reservation, but the kind waitress got a corner spot along a small glass bar with several open chairs. It made for a cozy feel, but not quiet. The music and chill vibe was nice, music was nice too, just a little too powerful for the coziness of the room.
There was a good variety of items to choose from on the menu. Keeping with our norm, one plate, two forks, we split a plate of Gogi Lettuce Wraps.
To me, it seemed like a nice combo of Korean BBQ with a bit of beef and pork. Not gonna lie, we had to Google it first, it took a while for our waitress to come over to us.
When she did, she described it pretty much like what we had found and we ordered it with a side of loaded rice. I also got a Lucky Dog Session IPA.
The beer came pretty quick, brought out by a different person. The food took a little longer but to be expected with as busy as they seemed. It was brought out by another third person. She was very nice, explaining what we had and the two different meats. I didn’t realize until it arrived the cut was more like a skirt steak. We’d order it again.
We could see the waitress that seated us busting her butt, keeping up with tables and she seemed friendly with all her guests. Ours, however, we only saw when she took our order. She would glance our way but never made eye contact, while greeting and hugging other guests. By the time our food was a quarter gone, my beer was empty. I had planned to order another (the Lucky Cat) if I saw her again, but that moment never really came until almost all the food was gone.
We did enjoy the food. The loaded rice and the rice that came with the meal was delicious. The “real” wasabi was by far the best I have had. I would come back just for that. The meat was flavorful and well prepared.

Honestly the best restaurant I’ve been to in a while!! The servers were so kind and accommodating. The drinks were FANTASTIC, super cute and creative too!! definitely indicative of an artist in love with their craft. The food was also amazing as well as the fact that I’m pretty sure they handmade their noodles. On top of everything else, the ambience is sooo calming and has such a nice modern twist with a very charming factor to it. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better dinner experience, it was just so amazing that I had to put in my review. Definitely a hidden gem of the area!!!

If only there were more stars to give. The staff and owner are all amazing, fun, awesome people. The sppork belly ramen was delicious. The entertainment on Saturday night (live jazz!) and then on Tuesday (karaoke with a great cast of regulars) was phenomenal. Can’t say enough about it. Thank you, Tokki friends!

The phrase “Hidden Gem” describes this wonderfully charming foodie haven. The oversized Korean “Tapas” were delightful and delicious. But the poke was out of this world! Wonderful food and drinks paired with the karaoke in the background was a nice touch. But enough about the food and ambiance, let’s talk about the service! This is what took this place to the next level. The attentiveness and hospitality truly shines here. There is a reason this place has such a fantastic rating. Yes the food, drinks, and vibe are amazing, but where they truly shine is the service. Our hospitality expert, Joo-Wan (I hope I didn’t butcher the spelling) made this a one of a kind experience that I will be seeking out again and again.
