Tried this adorable venue for the very first time this past late March and had a pleasant experience, our boys definitely enjoyed themselves.
The tree house-themed and obvious kid-friendly restaurant boasts a good all-around menu with some tasty grub and an emphasis on burgers.
The limited southeast WI chain seems to be a great place for young kids’ birthday parties, the atmosphere definitely calls for it.
I live a just a few minutes south of the WI border in Beach Park in northeastern Lake Co but if ever in the area again, will most definitely treat the boys here again. I wish for decades of continued boomin’ business for the owner(s).

Georgie Porgie’s in Mount Pleasant is one of those places that feels like a mashup of Midwest classics in the best way. Walking in, it honestly felt like a cross between Kopp’s, Portillo’s, and a little bit of Fuddruckers. The rotating flavor forecasts and custard sundaes of the month definitely gave me Kopp’s vibes, the huge menu, old school music, and nostalgic decor felt straight out of Portillo’s, and the super family friendly setup with a literal tree house dining area and arcade corner screamed Fuddruckers energy. You can tell it is meant to be a fun night out for everyone.
The burgers reminded me of what I grew up with on the North Shore of Chicago. Solid, classic, no nonsense Wisconsin style burgers. Nothing crazy gourmet, just done right. I’d give the burger a 7.2 overall. Good flavor, good portion, scratched the itch.
The custard was really good too. Creamy, rich, exactly what you want after a burger. Not better than Kopp’s in my opinion, but still strong. I’d put it around an 8.2. What I did love was the option to grab pints of previous flavor of the day custards to take home. As someone who literally drives back from Wisconsin with coolers full of custard sometimes that was a great touch.
Overall, Georgie Porgie’s is a super fun, classic Midwest burger and custard stop. Great for families, great for kids, and a solid nostalgia hit if you grew up around Chicagoland burger stands. Not the best burger or custard I’ve had, but a really enjoyable experience and definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

I like the creativity of this place a lot! Having the tree inside and the upstairs dining is very fun and was why I decided to come here in the first place. I think other restaurants should take notes! The service was also good, and the food wasn’t bad either. My burger and my partners burger were loaded up with a bit too much guacamole, but they were filling.

On a whim we decided to check it out. Definitely one-of-a-kind. Treehouse smack in the middle. Place was cool. The food was pretty tasty too. The chicken gyros was phenomenal. Quite a bit of food for one person. They have thier own specialty drinks- its nice. No coke or pepsi products.

What a great restaurant. Loved the large(fake) tree inside. I got the Cowboy burger, you can never go wrong with cheddar, bacon and BBQ sauce. I really liked my burger, you can tell they use quality ingredients. I eat burgers all over and I’d recommend anyone wanting a good burger to stop here.

1st time here and in area and enjoyed it so much. Had cheddar melt added mushrm on bed of lettuce. Cant have bread. and beer burger and cheese curds it was so delicious.

Pretty interesting concept. Decor was cool and the kids thought it was neat. Wasn’t a huge fan of the ordering process (order at the counter). Also the burgers were good but we were in a big group and some people said their orders were a bit messy. A major miss for me was that there seemed to be graffiti in several places including the garbage and bathroom. Seemed a bit off putting. That said it still seemed comfortable and safe for the kids. All and all cool place to try if you like quick burgers and have young kids.

Very cute place. Kids would love it. Burgers were delicious – my boyfriend really really enjoyed it. Service was great. Would recommend. My boyfriend loved the hand crafted soda also – There was a mystery flavor which was fun. And an upper tree house level to sit. So cute!
