Enjoyed a lovely Wednesday evening with 2 friends. The food was fresh and delicious, and the server was very kind and helpful. Will definitely be returning.

We tried the hot and sour soup, chili beef stir fry, sweet and sour chicken, egg rice, vegetable fried rice, and vermicelli rice — and everything was delicious. The flavors were fresh, bold, and perfectly balanced. The soup had just the right amount of heat, and the stir fry was packed with tender beef and veggies. Portions were generous and the service was fast and friendly. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Loved our first time here together. The restaurant is clean, and quaint including white tablecloths on the tables and a tea light candle for ambiance.
The service was extremely attentive and refill to the beverages came without prompting.
We started with the spring rolls…I wasn’t a huge fan. They were very crispy but just okay. However, the main dishes blew us away!!!
He ordered a black pepper steak stir-fry and I ordered my preferred Pad Thai.
The food was exceptional.
Flavourful and tasty and will definitely have us both coming back. He added a small side of rice and it’s a good thing….the sauce was so amazing he wanted a carb to soak it up
For me, there was a little side plate with chopped nuts and a lime for me to add myself….which I loved.
The price was fairly priced for the portion size.
For everything, it was $60 and we are both leaving with leftovers.
I highly recommend you try eating in or ordering take out to try it if you are an Asian food fan.

This is our favourite restaurant in the Hamilton area and it’s not even close. It’s as consistent as a restaurant as I’ve ever been to. They just don’t miss. Every meal, every time is a hit. Meals come sizzling on a cast iron skillet. Just amazing. If you have not been, try it! You could not possibly be disappointed. Highly recommended!

Had a great meal here.

The Dinner for 3 was enough food for 2 full meals. This also gave us a chance to try different things

The restaurant was clean and our service was great.

Happy to stop by next time we are in the area

The owner was sweet, taking his time to serve every course. Unfortunately, other than the hot and sour soup- the food was terrible. The food was tasteless. The peppered beef and Schezuan chicken dishes had sauce that tasted like soya sauce. The Pad Thai sauce tasted like ketchup. If there is one thing I would order, it is the soup.

My family dined here last night for a birthday dinner and we had the dinner for 4 special. It came with four soups, spring rolls and four dishes that we chose (not set dishes). All dishes were fresh and delicious. Our server was attentive and engaging, and made the experience memorable. We’ll be back again for sure.

Went for an early dinner after church and decided to try it out. It was a bit dark and I was the only person for the longest time but then a couple came in. It became apparent that they were more or less regulars. The waiter was friendly and the food was good. It’s worth giving it a chance.

We ordered for the first time from banana leaf and sadly it will be our last. Every dish we ordered was beyond BLAND! The breaded chicken was all bread and soggy with little to no meat inside. The noodle dish we ordered was bland and had little to no flavour in it. The beef and vegetables we had barely any beef in it. The ‘ fried rice’ was not fried at all and just had white rice with a mix of what seemed like frozen vegetables with no flavour. Not to mention the shrimp wontons tasted and smelled foul and were inedible! We ended up throwing out this meal and ordering pizza. 120.00 down the drain. I only looked at good reviews before ordering this which was a mistake because if you read the bad ones I definitely can agree and had a similar experience. Don’t waste your time and money here!

We decided to order tonight as a special treat. The polite gentleman on the phone paid close attention to our dietary allergy to green pepper. And when we got the take-out order home, we were very pleased to see that there was no green pepper at all. We got the special dinner for two that comes with a choice of 3 entrees, vegetable spring rolls, two wonton soups, and jasmine rice. The total (taxes included) came to $67.06. The food tasted great. My husband and I think it might have tasted even better within the actual atmosphere of the restaurant. My favourite part was the wonton soup. My husband’s favourite part was the general zuo chicken. The order was ready when I arrived to pick it up at 6:00pm sharp. The polite gentleman packed it expertly in a cardboard box for me to easily carry to the car. There was enough leftover for another meal.
