I’m sorry, I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I have given this place one too many chances. The first time, I dined in and ordered a deep dish style special pizza and regular pepperoni pizza with my parents who have eaten here previously. When the pizza came out, it was literally overflowing with cheese. Like, I have never seen a literal river of liquid cheese flowing off of a slice like that before. And at first we thought, great, more cheese! But that’s basically all it was and sent our whole party to the bathroom all night, despite taking lactaid prior.
My parents said that all the times they’d had pizza here before, it’d NEVER been that cheesy before. We wound up throwing all of the leftovers away.
This most recent time, ordering carry-out, I opted for a safer bet- an Italian Cold Cut. To my dismay, the cold cut was toasted (??? It’s a COLD CUT.) and had literally nothing on it besides meat and cheese. HUH?! Like no mayo, no oil or vinegar, no seasoning, no lettuce, tomato, or onion. Just meat and cheese.
At the end of a long day of work, this was a HUGE punch to the gut. Will literally never be eating here again. So sorry to say that because I’m all about supporting local business but Y’ALL. This is just a slap in the face to a real Italian or New York style deli.

Medium to small Italian restaurant and pizzeria in a strip mall. Easy access and adequate parking. Pizza, salads, and subs were very good. The server was polite and efficient. Clean environment. Fed 4 adults and 3 children for about $75 pretax and tip. Reasonable pricing for the area. Friday night busy.

My large group of friends from church went there last evening for dinner. The service was excellent and attentive. The food was delicious. Some had salads, some pasta and some subs. They offer a wide variety of choices on their menu. I highly recommend New York Pizzeria if you want a casual lunch or dinner. Check it out!

Friday was our first time ordering this resturant. I ordered pickup online at 5:27 and due to me driving right past the location I got there after 6pm. My wife’s shrimp salad wrap was ready , but the pizza wasn’t ready. Which was understandable, because the place was really busy. I saw a guy eating wings at a table and immediately wished I ordered some, because the guy looked like he was enjoying them. I left around 615 to drive back to owings mills. The pizza was still warm. My son gave it a 8.5 out of 10 on his pizza scale. We will definitely order from here again. We may dine in instead.

16 Jul 24 the jovial gentleman that showed us to the table may have been the owner. Another wonderful dinner. Our waitress (who also served the bar) was so attentive, she had great timing.
mango habenero and bay wings were excellent as ususal. Our salads were very, very good, – as usual?
The quality of the food and the service is incredible. The owner has engineered a really fantastic restaurant.
25 June 24 what a fantastic staff! Bartender asked us for drink orders before we sat down. Our waitress awesome s was very attentive and so sweet.
I liked the godungjang wings but didn’t like the Nashville they didn’t have any dimensional flavor. I expected smoke, mustard, or molasses.
Both types of crab soup were very good. The cream of crab soup is very rich my wife felt full after only a few spoons.
23 April 24 We really enjoyed dinner tonight. The new dining room is fantastic, the owner blended the bar area and new space by providing the same brick, flooring and black wainscot.
Our waitress McKenna was a sweetheart. She was efficient and accomodating. We left her a big tip and will be glad to see her again.
As usual the mango habenero and bay wings were great! Perfectly prepared and hot from the kitchen. My wife’s reuben was top notch, she said that was as good as reuben’s in her two favorite restaurants.
The happy hour cabernet and merlot were disappointing, we will look at other reds next time.
Another great meal. I had the southern chicken salad and loved it. My wife’s Caesar was just ok, she’ll order the other salads next time. The wings were super good. This is the best j&p!

My wife thinks that their pizza is the best in all surrounding counties, she makes a 20 minute drive to have lunch here.
Dinner options include chicken, veal, and steak as well as pasta dishes. They offer a few wines and sweeten the deal by offering happy hour Monday through Friday

Absolutely love this place, we order here every Friday for pizza, and it never fails. Not only do they have exquisite pizza, but their entire menu is elevated and wonderful! The pasta is so customizable (the vodka sauce is my favorite.)
