Bruno catered a family party for us. We had his pizza truck at my house as well as some amazing trays of food. Bruno was very accommodating with all of our requests and Paolo and Riley did an amazing job making fresh pizzas from the truck. The pizza was great! Having Paolo, who is originally from Italy made the entire event more authentic. But Riley handled the oven just as well as he did! It was a great day and Doughboys of Farmingdale, NJ was a huge part of it!

Now let me tell you. This place is not in an area you would think would be great food, but it’s a hidden gem. I lost admit being from the shore; I was skeptical, but to be pleasantly surprised; the white pizza was on point.

I’m not a grilled chicken fan, so I won’t elaborate on that much, but the bbq, honey, and scampi wings were pretty good. Again I like my wings fried, but that’s just a difference. I’m style, not a knock on them. The back area near the bathroom could have been cleaned up.

The waitress we had I wish I got her name because she was so kind and accommodating. We didn’t have reservations, but she took all 13 of us and ensured we had everything we needed.

If you go, the white pizza is a must. Ask for extra ricotta. Whatever they used for it must have had magic in it because it was one of the best I’ve ever had.

Saw comedian “One Funny Lisa Marie” post about this place so I stopped by for a midday slice and all I can say is… ‘I’m done with it!’ Literally, ate the whole thing and it was delicious, yum! The penne vodka slice with fresh basil was really good – great flavor, nice crust, and heated up in seconds in the huge “Nonna” oven.

Since it was 3pm there weren’t too many choices (and no flyers for Lisa on the wall?) but otherwise no complaints. Will definitely try again during lunch.

I’m a pizza enthusiast who’s tried New York, Chicago, Detroit, and Cali styles. For me, the key to great pizza lies in the crust. Doughboys is one of my top choices for excellent pizza.

During my visit, I started with a fantastic sausage and pepper slice. I couldn’t help but notice their impressive blue wood-burning oven with a spinning plate inside. The owner, Bruno, shared that they could make a personal pan pizza in just 3 minutes using that oven. Intrigued, I returned the following week and ordered a vegetarian personal pizza. It was huge and exceptionally delicious—the crust was perfectly balanced, even with an abundance of veggies.

Bruno, a true pizza craftsman, imports flour from Italy, adding to the savory taste. Later, I discovered that Tall Oaks Farm and Brewery allows patrons to bring food from vendors. Pizza and beer—a perfect combination.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch today. I ordered the Zia salad, but swapped the shrimp for grilled chicken and omitted the cheese. It was FANTASTIC!!! I don’t think I’ve ever “other and ahhed” over a salad before. That fig balsamic dressing was perfection, the chicken was grilled to perfection and those candied walnuts… YUM!!!

My husband ordered the chicken cutlet California sub. He chose the small and it was HUGE! He said the chicken was tender, juicy and the breading was perfectly crunchy.

The waitress couldn’t be nicer either.

We will definitely be back!

First time here, would definitely go back! Food was great and fairly priced. The young lady running the show was on point. Service was quick and friendly. Portions were enough to take some home for a second meal!

We hired Dough Boys for our rehearsal dinner and they exceeded our expectations! They brought their pizza truck and it was the cutest EVER and the food was incredible!

I have been going to Doughboys every 2 weeks, if you want a personal size Wood Fire Pizza with sliced Sausage look no further you have found the perfect place.
I get a Margarita with Sliced Sausage and the crust is so delicious cooked in the Wood Fire Oven at 850 degrees.
Their food is delicious and their sandwiches are huge and their salads with a Fig Dressing is amazing it is called a Zia which translates to Aunt. They also have an Italian Nachos which is awesome,attached is a picture.
The Amazing Pizza makers are Bruno & Christian. The waitress are Jaime and Lily.

Update here is my picture of the Pizza with the sliced sausage from the above description and an awesome Panini sandwich with eggplant and mozzarella and sweet peppers, yummy yummy in the tummy.
