Awesome hangout for friends and family with 9 different ciders on tap – all are very good, as there is a cider flight if you cannot decide what you want!
Atmosphere is super cozy and makes for a great place to stay for a while – no food options but you are allowed to bring in only food if you want. Outside sitting area with fire pit is also available great area, weather permitting.

Great place with indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly bartender. Great option to get tasters – 4 – 5 oz for $12 plus a 5th taster for like $4 additional dollars.

The extra dry and pineapple are very good. If you like cider you should certainly try it while you are here.

This is quite a refreshing change of pace on Kodiak from the five dive bars and lone brewery on the island. Double Shovel seems to have different ciders every day and none of them are ever bad. Whether you like sweeter or drier drinks, Double Shovel seems to have something that will satisfy everyone.
