Eaten here in the past but the menu and staff have completely changed. Ordered take-out and was not told the tacos come only with meat. Ground beef is also no longer offered as a meat option. They have a self serve salsa bar now. Also, they are cash only, no refills, and salsa costs $0.50. Prices have gone down though, but the food quality is not good. Very disappointed

We were skeptical at first but decided to try it out. Very glad we did. The food was good and not the typical Mexican fare. Their margaritas (which I don’t drink often) were cheap and good as well. I would compare it to Mexican food from a truck. I’m not a fan of counter service but won’t keep me from going back. There was one annoyance. If you need anything, you must go back to the counter and pay for it each time. There is no open ticket. So if you are having alcoholic beverages or want an extra taco, they charge your card with each trip. You are also charged 3% if using a credit card.

Not Mexican by a long shot, before they moved across the highway they were ok, not great but at least edible food. Now it’s a joke, bad food and service. Everything tasted frozen and they thawed our server out to wait on us also. He was about as attentive as a tree. I hate Taco Bell but I’ll go there before here again.

DO NOT listen to the poor reviews of this restaurant! Our first visit to Los Reyes was fantastic. GREAT FOOD…GREAT SERVICE! We came on a Monday evening when business was slower. NOTHING we ordered was frozen from a bag. Excellent job Los Reyes!!

The kid that was our waiter was very nice, as was the cook. The burgers were obviously frozen patties, onion rings and jalepeno poppers were almost certainly from a bag as well. I wanted to like this place but the food won’t let me.

Los Reyes mexican restaurant has recently changed it’s name and menu at this location to Jose’s Mexican Street Food Munford. The restaurant is easy to miss if you are not from the area. It is attached to a shell gas station on Munford Ave.
At first I was not real happy to hear this as we have always enjoyed Los Reyes. But as with any food I had to give it a try and am I glad I did. This is true regional mexican food. Again, this is not Texmex! My first time there I had the carnitas in a flour tortilla and dresed it at there bar. The carnitas had a great flavor that melted in my mouth. The next visit I had taco’s Al pastor ( A street food from central Mexico. A dish that is made with thinly sliced pork that has been seasoned with chilies and pineapple ). That was new for me but very good. My wife and I also enjoyed there chilie rellenos burrito. You could tell the chillie rellenos were made fresh and not frozen as you find in most mexican restaurants. My wife and I are on the big and fluffy side as someone said one day and I will tell you we both had a hard time eating all of the burrito.
So, if you are in the mood for some authentic mexican food you must give this place a try. I think you will be happily supprised#

This is no longer Los Reyes it is now named Jose’s. The food was good but they do not have a wait staff they take your order like a fast food joint and you sit anywhere and eat, which would be fine if you weren’t paying prices like you were at a sit down restaurant.

Was once my favorite, but no more. Managers let a table become so intoxicated they were in both bathrooms sick! I asked management to cut them off, but no luck. Unfortunately three cars left the restaurant driving that night. I can’t support any restaurant that puts money over safety.

This Los Reyes location was closed. It is now Pop’s kitchen. Service and food was good, prices were fair. Very modest place but can see potential.

New design caters to more of a Cali Mexican style. Just wish the chips and salsa were complimentary. Great salsa bar though
