This bar is definitely overrated. My experience definitely could have been better black folks in the black communities claim they want us to come together apparently these three aren’t those black folks because you would have thought Trump called them personally and told them to segregate against making me a drink smdh although two of the bartenders were light-skinned I’m a light-skinned black woman with light eyes that gets a lot of hate from black women my own people these black women literally walked around me and would take drink orders from new customers that were just walking up to the bar while I was standing there waiting none of them would even acknowledge my presence they would only take drink orders from man as they approached the bar while ignoring me which is typical in black owned bars and some black owned establishments this is why as a black woman I will not support all black businesses just because we are black. This situation is why I will not be going back because all black establishments do not treat other black people well and this establishment was a prime example last night from my experience. I’m always experiencing black women that are full of envy and hate and disrespect towards me for no reason just for how I look it’s always black women smh no other race black women smh Most will move around their so-called sister full of attitude and jealousy but black people are always screaming support black businesses I’ve been treated better in white establishments more than I have around my own people in Cincinnati Ohio especially the way I was treated in this establishment yesterday I will never go back. I suppose these thirsty bartenders thought that I would not tip and I shouldn’t but I still left the thirsty big thirsty $2 to make her feel a little bit better about herself although a tip is not required.. something else they probably need some understanding/training/knowledge on. Because let me find out that the owners are allowing the bartenders not to serve customers because they are not being tipped. I used to be a bartender I definitely was a more professional bartender than these ladies will ever be I treated everybody with kindness dignity and respect male or female tip or no tip you don’t know another human being situation you don’t know why they’re not tipping and they owe you no explanation. something that these black females need to learn at this bar or need to be taught from management unfortunately our people don’t hold our people accountable smh I definitely and I definitely will be spreading the word on how I was treated as a black woman in this black establishment my family already hates going to Black owned bars in Cincinnati and have decided to start going out in Columbus instead of driving to Cincinnati due to these types of situations.
Of course instead of coming on here and holding their sales accountable you want to try to make it seem like I’m the person in the wrong it’s a parent that the person that responded back to my comment is in their feelings and must be one of the trash bartenders that didn’t want to serve me to begin with lol smh. And just because you don’t see any other reviews or anyone else may have felt like I have felt does not mean that this is not an issue at this bar and if you read through the comments a little further you will see that there is another female that has been treated by this establishment smh. I have no reason to lie I actually posted the videos up on Yelp this is why I document and record things and take photographs for people like you who would rather lie than hold people accountable let’s rip the Band-aid off let’s talk about it

This night i met my cousin out for their reggae night. They were playing old and newer hits! They do not play about the 30 and up lol. Grown folks vibes. Very chill from my perspective. Everyone was cool. Folks just be up in there vibin . Some nights it can get crowded in there but some nights its not at all. Reggae night be just right. They need to bring that mechanical bull back out .

Dropped in for a few minutes as part of a birthday party bus evening. The music was good, the dance floor was decent size. I have no idea how much drinks cost. Not crowded but it looked like all the “regulars” were there. Neutral on my rating.

The drinks weren’t badly priced but they were very strong. I was there to see the band outside and was disappointed at all the trash they store next to the stage. When the wind blew all you could smell was trash. The outside is smoking but you couldn’t smell cigarettes too strongly, which was nice. However, the weed smoking was strong… and several friends were uncomfortable walking through the bar to come outside to the band.

I’m so sorry, the place was decorated beautifully couldn’t stay long there was no where to sit inside. I was not going to buy drink’s with no ware to sit and stand for hours. It was raining and cold and I was not sitting outside. The outside was fixed up very nice. Happy Birthday Beautiful Jackie!
