Drawing inspiration from Thailand’s 50s-70s era, stepping into Big Boy Bangkok feels like discovering a hidden bar down a Bangkok side street, moody, vibrant, full of personality where neon lights & witty advertising defined the city’s electric atmosphere.
Those design cues come to life through South-East Asian graphics, vintage textures, & playful typography set against a sleek, contemporary backdrop, matched inventive cocktail & flavour-packed dishes.
The name comes straight from the streets when vendors call out “Hey Big Boy!” to tempt customers toward their stalls. That same cheeky spirit defines Big Boy Bangkok’s personality — lively, welcoming & just a little irreverent.

Beautiful, fresh delicious food. We had the Tom yum soup which was the best I have tasted. With generous amount of prawns . Duck curry with pineapple was also a standout. Just the right amount of chilli. Beautiful ! Service was attentive but not annoying. Great experience. We will be back.

Great portion size, great value, absolutely delicious, efficient service, best hospitality. I can’t recommend this place enough for all foodies. We will be back with friends to enjoy the authentic Thai food. 10 out of 5!

Spontaneously stumbled across this place and had dinner… it was such a wonderful experience. Our waitress knew the menu well and helped us portion accordingly for two people. We had the Tomahawk steak (just a little over 1kg), to share with sides of coconut rice and morning glory vege.
My partner also loves watermelon so we added this as an extra side for our main as well (typically an entree). The Pinot Noir we had was also divine, thank you for having us!

So if you love chillie you have to eat here. Proper Thai chefs. Great service from Jemma and David. The Larb is straight from Soi 14. The space is amazing and the cocktails a bit different. Bring a date. He/ she will be impressed.

The fit out is really lovely and I think the venue has a lot of potential.
The service was a bit lacking. Staff didn’t understand the menu and had to keep going back to check details with the chef.
The meals were pretty good but the scallop betel leaf dish was a bit dry. The massam curry was tasty.
I think the venue has a lot of potential but the staff need to finesse their service and the chefs need to deliver all dishes to the same standard.

Excellent Venue. Tracey is a fantastic host and I recommend this new venue if you’re looking to have a corporate event or any social function.
Good food. Delicious cocktails. They helped us plan it and we had lots of freedom to plan our event as best suited us.
