As a valued customer of this establishment several times in succession, I believe in calling customer service what it is….
I had the unfortunate, and unpleasant interaction with a gentleman who answered the phone at this establishment, Venice Pizza who attempted to take my order ( which was an extremely easy one I must confess ), but made this situation EXTREMELY difficult regarding my selection of food. I inquired with the subject how much a “Cheeseburger Only” would cost, without french fries. This gentleman paused for an extended period of time on the phone, and then stated that this order can only be placed if it comes with french fries, which I clearly stated I did not wish or desire that portion of the order, and repeating that I only wanted to purchase a cheeseburger… period.
This gentleman continued to be confrontational on the phone with me regarding this order and stated multiple times that this order cannot be facilitated unless it is accompanied by french fries,… with myself responding that once again, I did not want or desire french fries for this very simple order.!!? After a prolonged period of time of going back and forth on the telephone regarding this food order, the gentleman then became upset, and subsequently “hung the phone up” regarding this simple order.
This phone call interaction lasted approximately 11 minutes in duration.
This customer then called back three (3) times in succession, with the same representative hanging the phone up on me, over & over again.
“UNBELIEVABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE”..!!!!!!
On the 4th return phone call to this establishment, the gentleman in question finally picked the phone up, and I clearly explained that I needed to speak to the manager on duty, regarding his actions & my request, in which this gentleman then placed me back on hold for a additional 6-minute duration. Finally, the unidentified manager of Venice Pizza turned out to be just as “Unhelpful” as the initial gentleman who answered the phone the first time.?
After explaining this situation in detail regarding the food order request, this manager rambled on….. stating that their computerized cash register would not be able to accommodate or process this order unless french fries were included with this cheeseburger.???.. WHAT..???
After an extended period of time of explaining to this manager of my wishes regarding this order, and he responding, giving over a “Dozen Reasons”why he couldn’t accommodate preparing ONE cheeseburger, I became absolutely disgusted and annoyed regarding this phone conversation, and explained to this manager that a Google Review would reflect this interaction, ( 1 Star-Rating ) and it would be posted ASAP regarding this completely avoidable situation.

I want to make people aware of what happened to me at Venice Pizza & Pasta, because this is not right and it is disrespectful to customers.
I called in an order for a cheesesteak and an Italian hoagie. They told me it would be ready in 15–20 minutes. When I arrived to pay, the card machine automatically pulled up the tip options as soon as the employee selected “credit card.”
What bothered me most was that the employee did not give me a choice. She told me, “Just press one,” as if I was supposed to tip without even thinking. That is not how you treat customers. That system is set up in a way where people who don’t know any better will press whatever they’re told. It feels misleading and dishonest.
I don’t mind tipping — I always tip when it’s earned. But being pushed, pressured, or tricked into it is disrespectful. No customer should be told what to tip or be rushed into it. It makes me wonder how many other customers have been influenced the same way without realizing it.
Because of this unnecessary pressure and lack of respect toward me as a customer, I cannot recommend this place. Businesses should treat people with honesty and integrity, not tactics that make customers feel uncomfortable or taken advantage of. The system is rigged credit card
