After reviewing this business online we drove to get a bite to eat. It’ the real thing ya’ll. Friendly service, tasty food for sure. I enjoyed a fried fish po boy, fried onions, fried okras, cold slaw and a fountian drink

I agree with the other positive reviews about the tasty food and don’t have much to add on that front.
What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service given that this isn’t a full service restaurant. The young woman taking orders behind the counter was very proactive about greeting us, thanking us, and checking in toward the end of our meal.
She was also greeting other patrons by name, which suggests either a strong rapport with regulars or a thoughtful effort to use the names associated with phone orders. Either way, that kind of warmth goes a long way and left a lasting impression.

Food was good, but the price switch cost me $7. They offer bass or catfish but dont tell you the catfish cost more. Charged me for a large drink but only got a medium. Was there an hour and there wasn’t anyone else visit there. I’ll not be back

Was given the wrong food. Called to report it since we lived pretty far away they said to just stop by next time we were in town they would replace it. Went in today all they would replace was the meat part so I asked how much for 2 sides they said 8.99 the whole plate was only 10.99 so told her no. Took 45min to a hour to get our food. While waiting I noticed on the menu on the wall sides were only 1.99 each. Very disappointed in this business

Called and placed an order and while placing order the girl hung up after I had spent 10 mins just trying to get them to answer the phone. Got there and they didn’t have all of my order so I had to reorder the food and wait longer

This place is very casual and seemed to be geared toward to-go orders as all meals were served in styrofoam boxes. It’s not really fast, but the food was inexpensive and pretty good. The catfish po boy, beans and rice, and mac and cheese were very good, but the shrimp po boy was pretty bland. Overall, a good place for casual eating, just know that it is neither fancy nor fast.

Well worth the short drive off I-49. The shrimp po boy was loaded with delicious tender shrimp. My side was red beans and rice. They were creamy and full of flavor.
