It is not a typical restaurant.
It is a small and busy place. There is a good reason for that, their food. It is REALLY good food. Every plate was better than the other!
Their drinks are good also.
The service also it is good a little bit chaotic probably because of how busy it is. But they do their job good. And they know to offer hospitality.
The decor of the place is authentic, crowded with Mexican style.
Come here for the experience it is unique and authentic!

came for national margarita day! it was an amazing time. the $50 flights for 6 margaritas and 6 shots was definitely worth the deal. the food is also great! small spot but cozy and welcoming for sure

Amazing food. Great service. Some of the best birria tacos in NYC! The horchata is also incredibly flavorful. The guacamole is made with super fresh ingredients. And their salsas are very flavorful. The birria ramen is also an incredible fusion. The consome is made with lots of herbs and spices.

When they gentrify East Harlem, this will be one of the spots they say is a hidden gem!
This is a tiny little spot but there are plenty of seats inside and outside. The service was super warm and friendly! She took a minute to explain the menu to me, which is basically they have a list of meats and veggies that can be applied to 95% of their menu at no additional charge (so you can get enchiladas and make them beef, chicken, bean, etc.)
I had zucchini enchiladas and a mango margarita. The margarita was forgettable but the enchiladas, gahdamn they were so good! I’ve never had a “soupier” enchilada but it delivered! It was tangy and just absolute perfection!

I had longed to go back to Ollin since moving from the neighborhood and I’m so glad I did. They are now on 2nd Avenue off 108th.
I chose the Ollin cemita with grilled chicken. Bite after bite was pure scrumptiousness; fresh, spicy and full of flavors. A tamarind margarita went well with it.
$31 which is a bit more than small Mexican restaurants, but well worth it! Can’t wait to go back!

Don’t charge more than your menu price states because that’s the reason I came to eat here but I wont be back again because the young guy charged me $12 for a $9 red sangria that was worth only $6 tasting like red wine and orange juice. But it’s cool I don’t mind paying just don’t do that, it’s miskeading/fraud. You should charge the price you advertise!

The food was really delicious. Went for the first time after seeing it long long ago. Well worth the wait.
I really enjoyed their asada, and the chicken is tasty. Horchata was really valid too.
The rice in the burrito is fire too! It’s clear that they don’t settle when it comes to making food.
I can’t wait to try it again and try some other items. But ima come back for that asada for sure.
It’s in intimate place so seats might not be available at all times (they have another location near by tho).

Went in, no table was available and it wasn’t because it was busy they only had a table actually being used. The tables were all dirty and not ready for other guests. Walked in and no acknowledgment at all so just walked in after 5 minutes of standing hoping someone would seat us or atleast clesn a table for us. Very disappointed because the food looks like it’s good based on the tiktoks they make but really does natter what 1st impressions are
