Wonderful experience! Stopped here for a late lunch with my husband and daughter while on vacation. This place had pub vibes with good music playing and delicious food. Our waitress was attentive and friendly and the service was prompt. Everything we had was amazing. My husband had the smoked salmon BLT, my daughter had the 59 cheeseburger, and I had the portobello burger. We shared the fried green tomatoes appetizer. There were daily food and drink specials and happy hour prices every day. I had the seasonal pumpkin pie martini and it was seriously my favorite martini of all time!

A real hidden gem! This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the food is absolutely phenomenal. The sandwiches are unique and delightful, nothing like your average options at similar establishments. We stopped here for a quick bite on our way back to the airport from a quick weekend vacation to the Sarasota/Bradenton area. While the exterior was unassuming, these sandwiches did not disappoint (and at a great value too)!

In Bradenton Florida visiting family and found this place for a late dinner after our flight. The description said “Giant hand breaded pork tenderloin”. While this was not “Edinburgh Diner” giant, it was certainly large enough for a meal. The breading was well seasoned and so light but crunchy. I got it with pickles and red onions. I didn’t even need the mustard – it was that good. My side was the garlic broccoli which had just the right amount of garlic. My wife had the blackened grouper sandwich with the fried Okra. Both plates were clean. They have a nice selection of beers and specialty drinks , nightly specials ( we were told the Thursday sirloin is killer ). They even have a German themed octoberfest menu that looked really good. We may go back, Nine Grill & Tavern on Cortez Road West in Bradenton.

Five Nine Grill is outstanding! The appetizers and meals were not the run of the mill gastropub offerings. The Gucci Burger and Portabella Burger were both mouth watering, the Whipped Feta appetizer was amazing as well as the Roasted Corn & Shrimp Bisque. Finally, our server, Holley was perfect. Holley was timely, but did not rush us, friendly, professional and courteous too! Even the owner (the other Holly) stopped for a while to chat and welcome us as if we were family. Holly made us feel like we were regulars for sure. All we need now is a second Five Nine Grill II right here in the Market Walk area of north Parrish…then life would be even better. Thank you Holley and Holly! We will be back, with friends of course.

The service was exceptional, and our waitress ensured that we received outstanding care. The food was served hot, with balanced seasoning, and the mixed drinks were exquisite. I am particularly discerning with my drinks, and they were prepared to perfection, avoiding excessive sweetness or sourness. The musical selection, featuring hits from the early 2000s, was a delightful touch, evoking a sense of nostalgia. Additionally, the mud cake is a must-try.

This place is wonderful! Great food and Holley was an awesome server. She highlighted favorites and answered any questions we had. The food was well presented, hot, and very tasty. Everyone loved their food. We will definitely come back when we vacation in the area in the future. A must try….you will not be disappointed.

I couldn’t find a place to eat on my last night in town, and this was recommended on a several year old Reddit thread (as all good things are.)
I have NO notes. The host handled my complete butchering of the English language with grace, the server/bartender I had was an absolute sweetheart, and the woman who came out to talk to me about my gluten sensitivity (manager? owner?) was so passionate about the changes the restaurant has made; I’m blown away by the quality staff here!
The food and drink is nothing to scoff at either. The drinks were perfectly made and came out quickly and presented well. They batter in rice flour, which is so crunchy and complimented the green tomatoes well. My burger was cooked exactly how I asked, and even I, an undisciplined goat cheese disliker, branched out and really enjoyed the light tang of the raspberry goat cheese!
While I live too far away to go here often, this restaurant has given me an experience I’ve yet to find most other places.
