This was my first time dining at McAlister’s. I had a cup of the Country Potato soup, and a small lemonade. Both were delicious, and they arrived at my table in less than 10 minutes after ordering, even during the lunch hour. As a bariatric patient, this is a great place to get a healthy, filling meal.

This nice Restaurant and sandwich shop is about the nicest place that I have been in. I ordered and I drove right up and waited for it and this lovely lady came to the window started out with my soda and went to fix my sandwich. Which shows me that the sandwich is being made fresh. I had the 6-in French dip and I have to say it is a five-star sandwich along with their macaroni and cheese and don’t forget their brownie!! This restaurant is a five-star restaurant it is quaint it is cozy it’s right before you get into town right before you get to Walmart it’s a perfect little sandwich shop and I would recommend this for anyone I mean it anyone!

They made 1 plate at a time stood in line to order for 15 minutes. Then waited another 45 minutes for our food. The manager spent her time standing at the window and talking about tips then took her phone in the bathroom for quite a long time. Probably would have been better to clean off the several dirty tables there was or go back in the kitchen and help make food. There was 2 woman sitting behind me 1 had her food the other said she had been waiting almost 40 minutes for her plate after her friend got there’s. Absolutely ridiculous

The potato was HUGE!! The line to order was quite slow but after getting our order in, it was relatively fast to actually get the food. We did notice that like our own daughter, a lot of Mac and cheese went uneaten. The potatoes were good and the store was clean although they were way behind on bussing the tables and they had no silverware. The sweet tea was comparable to truck stop tea. The men’s bathroom is a one person bathroom that had a dirty toilet seat. The toilet paper was difficult to unroll as was the paper towels since the dispenser apparently didn’t work. I might return at some point but it’s not high up on my list of eat at again places.

The dining area floor was extremely sticky. The doors are not wheelchair friendly nor the restroom. Gentleman behind the counter was great and the food was “chef’s kiss”.

All was good, only criticism is the line is forever long as they pour your drinks and have you wait there. Seems they could have a better way to speed the line a bit. (Also a bowl of soup isn’t much larger than a cup….. but almost double priced. I left wishing I had gotten more food but wasn’t willing to order more. Strawberry tea is the bomb though

Waited more than 15 minutes for our food. Most of the tables were unavailable due to not being cleaned food still on tables. Workers seemed as though we were bothering them just by coming to eat.
