Picking the ingredients I wanted on my pizza made it super yummy! There were upscale ingredients that were great! The staff was very nice and the busboy was very good at his job keeping everything clean. The noise level made it a little hard to hear the staff to order our pizza. The price was good for the quality.

Super disappointed. I paid $6.99 for a sliver of red velvet cake! I did an online order and have never been here before. When I picked my food up, the pizza was ready and the cake was already in a plastic bag and I didn’t think to look at it. I bought it for my stepson as a surprise to celebrate the anniversary of when we first met. I’m so disappointed and embarrassed I have to present him with this. I bought a carrot cake that is barely a slice too for $6.99! Pizza was not worth the price either. Wish I would’ve got to Papa John’s next door for double the pizza at half the cost! For the price of this slice and a half of cake I could have bought a whole cake at Safeway. So disappointed!

While the pizza was good and they have gluten free options were delicious, the salad was a mess and had hardly any greens. The flavor of the pizzas and toppings was really good, but not really worth the $50 price tag for this dinner.

First timer and very enjoyable! I would rate this higher than Fabio On Fire and Mod Pizza. Excellent quality food, comfortable seating indoor and out, lively atmosphere. More on the fun active side vs dark and romantic. Though this would be a great place for a casual date for sure.

While the ingredients are fresh the size of the pizza is underwhelming. (Smoll.)
I ordered a cheese, add ricotta, green peppers, and mushrooms online. I expected more char and less chew. It was just okay.

While waiting for my pizza to be made I headed to the bar to get a drink. The bartender did her job but didn’t go aboce and beyond or impress me. Bartenders sold know how to chat and make everyone feel welcome.

Mentioning I placed an order to go no attempt was made to check on it or grab it for me. A small gesture I would have done.

I have years of hospitality experience so I know what I am talking about.

Won’t be back.

Char was recommended to me by another store’s associate. Came here to pick up an order to go. I selected their sausage and peppers pizza. It’s a one size only Margherite pizza. I added mushrooms, and switched the red for yellow onions; and asked for mild sausage. Arriving home with my pizza, it looked nice. Going to grab a slice I soon discovered it wasn’t cut through properly; and there was a lot of flop — some of the toppings falling off. My first bite was nothing but spicy as it was suppose to be mild sausage. Not appealing at all. The rest of the tastes for red peppers, mushrooms, and onions are ok. Hard to tell beyond the spicy sausage taste that’s still in my mouth. The outer crust is very doughy. I can relate with David Portnoy who doesn’t care for Margherite pizza. My check came to $18.54 before tip. I doubt I’ll be back. I could have gone to Deno’s or Rosati’s for a much better pizza; and saved a few dollars. The restaurant is clean, and affords various seating of booths/tables, bar, and patio. It’s situated in a mall. Parking may prove to be a challenge. Hard to get over the feeling of order and pay first – like in line at any other fast food restaurant – and they bring your order to you. I picked up my order at the bar. If Margherite is your style of pizza, come and try them. If not, you’re going to be disappointed. My suggestion is to ask the pizza cooked well. That might ease up on the flop of the pizza’s center.

P.S. Discovered there’s red onions, not yellow when I asked for them. Not happy at all with this experience. I gave them a two star at first… now it’s a one star. How can you treat customers like this?

In answer to your reply… No, the sausage was spicy too. As for the chili flakes… they overpowered the pizza in every bite. Anyone who cooks will say that that’s too much in any dish. No red onions means NO RED ONIONS. Pizza is not meant to be eaten with a knife and fork. Watch ‘Houseboat’ to see Sophia Loren school Cary Grant on how to eat pizza. You fold it, and eat it using your hands. For ingredients to fall off while picking up a slice, that’s way too much flop. Again with the pepper flakes… I didn’t see them on the menu that’s shared on this site (Google), but now see them on your website. To help others it would be good to reflect that on here. Or add a caveat for people to view your menu on your website. Just saying…

First time visit was a little confusing on how the process was but quickly was explained by the friendly and patient staff. New favorite pizza spot. The food tasted great as the crust was perfect, not too burnt, not doughy. I think this is the way pizza should be…..huh.

Came in on a bad day, busted up my phone and was next door at the tech repair shop. Came to cheer myself up with a pizza.

First timer at CHAR, completely unfamiliar with the system.
Homie throwing dough was super helpful right from the start, explained no single slice options and that the pies are all personal sized, went down the menu with me and was super helpful!
Next gal was I think new, another lady was giving her tips and tricks for the pizzas (AMAZING TIPS BTW). It gave me an opportunity to look at all the options for toppings. Oh my goodness y’all got a lot!
Super fun watching the lady’s rip up fresh mozzarella and basil for my ricotta pizza! And the extra garlic was perfect!!!
Got a bit lost on the way to the register and the 3 gentleman working that area was awesome and helpful too.
Homie on register was helpful and explained how the ranch cups worked and priced out stuff I had questions on.
Pizza came out super quick (under 10min).
Super crispy on the edges, gooey cheese, covered in red pepper flakes n Parm!
Ran into a minor hiccup with my pizza towards then end and let the team know, wasn’t upset food service is food service. Said thanks for the delicious pizza and the team member I was talking to gave me this rainbow cake bar thingy that was really good.

Anyways thanks for letting me ramble.
Highlights: Lots of options, reasonable price, friendly & helpful staff, fresh and fast pies.

When we visit from San Diego this is our go to pizza place. Their pizzas, salads and beer selection are great. We met the owner and her mom on our last visit and they are wonderful people. This is a must try spot the entire family can enjoy. Keep up the great service and delicious food!!

Well I wasn’t expecting a subway type pizza restaurant. Order your toppings, get your own silverware. This is a fancy, extremely white decor, clean establishment which is okay but we were expecting a pizza made by the workers starting from the dough down and wanted wait service not waiting on ourselves. Coming from CT and NY this is not the best set up for a good pie. The price was high. Thanks but we won’t come back.
