Tried them for the first time tonight. Pizza was excellent and reasonably priced. If you’re side-eyeing “gas station pizza”, don’t – this is real deal New Haven apizza. We’ll be back.
FYI if you want to eat there – the gas station is large and well-lit, and there are maybe 4 tables inside you can eat at. They also serve by the slice.

Been in New Haven 62 Years. I know good pizza better then any Italian person or pizza lover. This is award winning pizza, your crazy if you sleep on these guys. All the so called great pizza makers in New Haven went for the money and forgot the love of a good pie and the customer’s. Thanks Pat for bringing New Haven Pizza Back to New Haven CT even though your located in North Haven. Take the ride it’s worth ever dime!!!!

WOW! Is all I can say!! The pizza was sooooo good! I’ve been a fan of Sally’s for a long time, but I say this with conviction. This is the best slice of pizza I have had! Crispy, not burnt, flavorful and the sauce is amazing!!! You have to try it don’t let the gas station fool you! Great people behind the counter with a great big smile!

Absolutely fantastic New Haven–style Apizza! The crust was perfectly thin and crisp with that classic char, and the sauce had just the right balance of flavor. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier — welcoming from the moment we walked in and super quick service. Prices are very reasonable for the quality, and it’s super convenient being right off the highway. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is a must-stop for great pizza and great people!

Not what you think when you hear “gas station pizza.” Staff was friendly. Growing up in West Haven and living so close to New Haven we are spoiled with so many great pizza options. Pat’s rivals the best of them. Thin crust, crispy but not burnt, plenty of toppings and a good variety of Foxon Park in the cooler. Definitely one of the better pizza’s around. We will definitely be back!

Great Pizza…. I feel there Plain Org Tomato Pie can go up against any of the big names in New Haven.. Only thing I would say for improvement is the Bacon pizza. It needs a little more and not just strips of bacon thrown on.. Other wise everything was very good. They will do well here.

If you’re ever second guessing yourself about getting pizza from a pizza place located in a gas station, don’t sleep on Pat’s. In my opinion, this pizza will rival any of the famous New Haven Apizza restaurants. In fact, I believe it could be the best in state. I never eat the crust on my pizza, but I definitely eat it from Pat’s. Will most definitely be back.

I’ve been hearing people rave about this place in New Haven. I traveled 2 hours to see what the hype was about. Pats Apizza was a 10/10, A+. Well worth the drive. Super fresh tasting pizza, super friendly staff. This pizza can hold its own in New haven being the pizza capital of the world. Pizza dough is made fresh in house. Will be back again. Great prices too!! A++++

We happened to be in North Haven today for a doctors appointment and wanted to stop for pizza for dinner somewhere. I googled suggestions of where to eat and Pat’s Apizza Had great reviews. I have to say I was thrown that it was part of a gas station, but their pizza is absolutely amazing. I agree With others, it is just like New Haven style pizza. The staff is very friendly and the place is brightly lit and clean. I’m so glad we stopped in to eat, I was so pleasantly surprised of how delicious their pizza is.
