Located in the heart of Costa Mesa, just minutes from John Wayne Airport, we’re proud to be Orange County’s premier destination for genuine Japanese cuisine and drinks, open until 2 AM. “Iyasaka” (彌栄)) is a traditional Japanese word meaning “ever-increasing prosperity” and “shared well-being.” This isn’t just our name—it’s our promise to you. Every dish we serve, every drink we pour, and every warm welcome we extend is rooted in the belief that true prosperity comes from bringing people together in comfort and joy.

Came here with a group of four, one of whom being from Japan. We were all amazed by the variety and quality of food. It is presented as sharing plates and is much more than sushi. Daily specials were presented on a chalk board, but they had a set menu as well. The miso cheese was *chef kiss*. The service was excellent and friendly and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. Will be going back soon!!

Vibes and flavors like you found the perfect izakaya down an alley in Japan. Affordable and delicious unique Japanese food at least down in the OC. Teba gyoza and Eihire are hard to come by anywhere in the SoCal area, especially done so well!

This place won’t stay a secret for very long. It’s clear this is the chef’s passion project by the thoughtfulness of the food. I only wish I lived closer so I could come more often.

My boyfriend and I have tried so many little Japanese spots since we visited Japan, but nothing has come close to this! We finally were able to get a lemon sour and the food was so delicious!! Couldn’t have had better service and the standouts for us were the pickled veggies, miso cheese, and the duck.
