Me and my friends went to the jersey mikes on 23rd with a somewhat complicated order asking for several toppings and condiments on the side so our sandwiches would stay fresh through some travel. I didn’t catch any names, but the entire staff was so pleasant and helpful. They went above and beyond making sure everything was properly sealed and convenient for us with utensils and extra toppings. And then wished us a safe trip. As a younger person I know a lot of times employees can be annoyed to have teenagers in their store so this was a super positive experience we were so grateful to have!! Thanks you!!

If you call in an order in advance, you shouldn’t have to wait 20 minutes in line just to pay for your food when it’s been sitting there before I even walked into the store. Have a cashier that only takes money to expedite service plz.

My go-to is still The Veggie. I’ve been getting it for years, and I’m still not tired of it!
On a corporate level, I love all the philanthropy this company does! They have their “Day of Giving” and other events to contribute their profits to the regional food bank, Special Olympics, Susan G Komen Foundation, and other nonprofit organizations! Super cool!

While walking into the store at least two employees were openly coughing which I understand sometimes you can’t help in which you should wear a mask. Throughout the 15ish minutes spent in store all 4 of the employees had a cough and didn’t seem to care were it landed. I wanted to ask about the none dairy bread option which I saw online and wanted to make sure that they had it which was wheat. (My BF is allergic to dairy and the only reason we came was due to getting a gift card so we thought we’d give it a try.) The guy stared at me like I was speaking a foreign language and then started telling me things I already knew. Like just don’t put chz etc on the sandwich. Point is – Dirty store, employees don’t know the nutritional facts about product and done seem to care to. We got 2 sandwiches and while they were being made one guy sent to the back and started smoking out the back door. I mean the whole experience was just off…

Went there for lunch today and ordered the gluten-free roll, and informed them of my gluten allergy. They immediately took it seriously and started cleaning up all of the surfaces, each worker got new gloves, and they grabbed a new knife. I felt pretty safe.
My ONLY worry being the tomatoes and lettuce since they used their gloves previously on those items, and they grabbed from the same areas as they had been for those. Which I hope management does address to continue to prevent cross contamination.
Luckily, I didn’t have any issues, but I would recommend pulling from the non-touched area next time.
But really, outside of that, I plan on going back and feeling pretty safe to eat there as someone who has to be gluten-free.
