We dined at Toro Japanese steakhouse this evening. The service was exceptional, sushi was the best we’ve had, that would be the tuna roll and orange chicken, and the chicken hibachi were both delicious.
Formally to Kara on US one in Vero Beach. Changed ownership and management and I suggest you give it a try definitely worth it!

WOW! Such a wonderful experience, you can tell the owners and staff really care about giving an exceptional dining experience for its patrons. The drinks we ordered were made very well and the food was absolutely cooked to perfection. The sushi roll was fresh and everything from the wasabi to the soup to the steak and the huge shrimp were just so delicious. It was the type of meal where you feel so happy and so fulfilled after you enjoy it. Do not skip this place it might be my new favourite restaurant in vero !!

5 stars across the board for our experience at Toro. This place is the real deal and this was genuine hibachi as it should be. Previous ownership used gross noodles and we never returned until now. First off, new ownership has saved this place, they are using lo mein noodles now as it should be. It’s clean, the waitress was so sweet, staff was friendly, atmosphere is better than before, feels more open and welcoming in the dining area for some reason, likely the windows/blinds. Our chef Deedee and the food was incredible. He was respectful, professional, friendly, attentive, and knew how to cook the food perfectly. Seriously…steaks were perfect, noodles and rice best we’ve ever had from a hibachi place, veggies tasted fresh, even the appetizers were quality. Clear soup had fresh mushrooms, which you could taste. We rarely find a good place like this, so we will absolutely be back. Please give this place a try and your family will surely enjoy it.

Pre-ordered a sushi dinner for take out for our Christmas Eve gathering and may I say the food and service were amazing. I was assisted in choosing the rolls by very nice people who explained what was in each roll and we decided on a fantastic variety of rolls and appetizers. The food was ready on time for pick up and they even helped us load it into the car. I cant wait to dine in and try their hibachi. We will definitely come back to dine in and get more take out. This is my hubby and my favorite restaurant. This restaurant is formally known as Takara Stakehouse. The service, the staff and the food are amazing. They treat us like family and respect is superior to any other restaurant. We go here at least 2 times a month and its our favorite place. They know us by name and even know our favorite table and cocktails. We have the highest regards for all the staff and highly recommend going here. There is no other place We want to go. Toro is the absolute best place for all your dining needs. Nofia is the management, her brother Sherwin is a gentleman and Monica our server is amazing. We can’t say enough good things. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

My party of 2 walked in and was immediately greeted in the most warm and loving way as if I was visiting family I haven’t seen in a year for Christmas lol. That let me know off bat how amazing the food and service was about to be. I was immediately taken care of by my waiter and she did more than make sure my party was taken care of as well and the food came out almost as soon as the words left my lips ❤️ all the food was amazing and fresh as well as the whole experience being amazing. The staff are just as amazing this is definitely my new hibachi spot and I’m telling all my friends as I write this !

All I can say is Welcome Toro!!! My boyfriend and I dined in and had a wonderful experience. We had a private booth, we didn’t have the chef look infront of us. We order 3 rolls my boyfriend had the Volcano roll! Wow! The presentation was nothing I’ve ever seen! So beautifully plated. The taste out of this world! So fresh! I had the crunch roll and the shrimp tempura roll and oh my goodness to die for! The service was so friendly and welcoming! Their menu is huge! I will definitely be trying a lot more items here! While we were eating, we heard the chef that cooks infront of you interacting with a family and we were also enjoying his entertainment! Lovely experience we’ll bring our families and friends back here with us! thank you Toro! Looking forward to exploring more of your incredible menu!

Been here a few times for the last couple months and they always deliver, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the food is always delicious. As a big fan of hibachi style and have tried hundreds of hibachi restaurants I can easily say Toro is up there as one of my favorite , and their sushi bar is something that you don’t wanna missed.
