I’ve been quite hearing much about this Mexican restaurant. It’s a very small place that is adjacent to a convenient store where you can just simply walk through it. Clearly wall separating them.
I wanted to try horchata, but unfortunately they don’t have it now, which made me have to get a drink from a convenient store next door.
Anyways, I wanted to try their quesadillas with birria, which has to be one of the best meats when it comes to Mexican food. Honestly, it’s really good. There doesn’t seem to be much cheese after it was cooked, but naturally it happens. Also, the sides slightly didn’t have meat but that’s fine. I also like how we were given salsa, sour cream, and guacamole as sides.
They also discount totcha by applying 50% off every Thursday and of course, Taco Tuesdays ($2 for each taco)! Gotta try their tacos soon. I also want to try their burritos too.
Hopefully, when I get back, I get a chance to get horchata because I heard from many people that it’s really good!

Tacos Chidos is your classic no-frills taqueria — solid, straightforward, and easy on the wallet. I grabbed carnitas, al pastor, and carne asada tacos on Taco Tuesday for $2 each, which is a genuinely great deal.
The tacos are decent — not mind-blowing, but not bad either. My one critique: the meat sits in chafing trays and comes out a bit too moist and soft. They already do a nice job grilling the tortillas on the flat top — if they finished the meat the same way to get a little caramelization and texture, these tacos would be significantly better. The fixings bar saves the day with a good variety of toppings and salsa options to customize each bite.
Conveniently located next to a gas station, it’s perfect for fueling up your car AND your stomach. Friendly service and quick turnaround. A solid quick-bite option in Fremont – just hope they take the flat top tip to heart!

We never had tater tot nachos before and we didn’t know it was gonna be like that!
We loved the breakfast burrito and my mom enjoyed the flan. Highly recommend a visit on Thursday especially for their half off tachos.
Also this is located in the Loop which totally exceeded expectations! Shout out to the manager Spencer and his team spending time with us on Christmas Eve.

Tacos Chidos is an awesome spot in Fremont. The space is clean, bright, and welcoming, and the staff is consistently friendly and helpful. You can really feel that they care about providing good service.
The convenience is a big bonus — it’s easy to grab gas and a solid meal in one stop. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the food is filling without sacrificing flavor.
I also appreciate the wrap options (spinach, tomato, or chipotle), which is a nice touch you don’t usually see. Everything tasted fresh and well-made.

I got the Al Pastor Burrito Chico with a spinach tortilla and it was so good. Perfect flavor, super fresh, and came out ridiculously fast. The horchata was amazing too- super smooth and not overly sweet. The whole place has that fun, feel-good energy that makes you want to come back with friends.

At first I was skeptical about this place since it was linked with a gas station but my friends and I wanted to give it a chance and we didn’t regret it one bit ! We had the Tacos, Super burrito, Super Totchos, Tres Leches, Flan, Horchata, and Jamaica. I would say the best thing is definitely the Totchos, or the tator tot nachos. Never would I have thought this combination was so well put together and i enjoyed every bite. We definitely prefer this over regular nachos now.
Service was excellent ! This place is newly opened so I didn’t expect too much but the staff was super friendly and patient with what you no matter how long you take to decide.
The workers there said they will be getting birria tacos within the next few months so we are coming back for that and definitely for the Totchos!

I got the burritos and tacos here, they were delicious. There are a lot of options for meat and toppings. I recommend the chipotle tortilla and chipotle sauce. Really helpful staff too, it’s a nice environment. Definitely coming back.
