It was pretty empty when we visited. I think most folks get takeout. I have not tried other pho restaurants in the area but this restaurant compares favorably to other places where I’ve eaten. We had the tofu and the chicken pho and we’re very satisfied. I would definitely

Ordered vermicelli noodles and shrimp Pho and the broth was very flavorful! On a side note- my take out order had no cilantro.

The restaurant is very clean, you can order through the kiosk either on the table or when you enter on the left hand side. The food is simple but delicious. I didn’t taste the monosodium glutamate from my fish ball noodle soup. Mom is vegetarian and she order a tofu noodle soup which is great, too. She likes it a lot.

I have to be honest I was very disappointed with the experience here. If you are looking for a dine-in experience this is not it. You will not be greeted. Everything in the establishment is automated with the use of kiosks at each table and up front. It appears you can go up to the register and order with a person but you would not know that unless you regularly come to the establishment.

We ordered spring rolls and pho. The pho dishes are fairly small compared to most pho establishments. The broth was off unfortunately. The broth tasted like a salty chicken broth. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls was very vinegary as well.

We gave this establishment a 2nd chance thinking it may have gotten better over the years being open, but sadly it has not. If you are unfamiliar with what pho should be then you may be okay with what this restaurant serves, but if you know the rich flavors that pho should and can be then you will likely be dissatisfied with the dishes here.

I ordered takeout and was very saddened. The food overall is decent but it’s lacking key elements from staple Vietnamese cooking.

I got the Pho and the meat I received was not rare it was VERY cooked. The broth needed more salt and aromatics in it. Not flavorless, but needed some TLC to really make it amazing. I also did not get any cilantro or basil for toppings as well. Including my spring rolls, they lacked the basil and cilantro inside that I look forward to so much. My Thai iced tea wasn’t as sweet as it normally is as well and wished they made it on the lighter side. Positive side is that the fried egg rolls were very crisp and delicious.

I am unsure if they did this to cater to the college student and predominantly white population in State College, but unfortunately I will not be returning here. For the price point versus what i received was overall meh.

An immediate favorite. The service is fast and the food is great. The only downfall is how far the walk can be from the South or East ends of campus, but the walk or bus ride is worth it.

The only item I wouldn’t recommend is the mochi. It’s not bad by any means, I’d just rather get better mochi for a lower cost somewhere else. The rest of the menu is top-notch.

this place absolutely makes me feel warm and full after eating there! the pho is delicious, the people are nice, and it’s quiet. I always try to find another excuse to make my way over and grab a bite!

Has a convenient self-ordering system that lets you see all the options and what is inside each dish while not having any pressure of having to order quickly. The seating is open, so you can find your own spot and settle in. The pho itself was delicious – the broth was rich and satisfying. It may not be as authentic as some other place but still good.

We were working in Lock Haven which is about 45 min east of state college and this is the only Vietnamese restaurant in the 50 miles radius. That being said, it’s pretty legit for a college town in PA. Pho is always great and the only “complaint” I have is the egg rolls. They are pathetically tiny for the price you paid and it’s just okay.
